    Glide Gear SYL 180 reviews

180 Degree Aluminum Curved Track for Camera Dolly is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the hassle I purchased this 180 degree curved dolly track last summer. Setting it up is not only a pain, but time consuming as well as. You have to place washers and screws into all the holes and tighten each one individually. A lot of the holes do not line up evenly. This makes trying to tighten them a rather tedious and frustrating chore. It takes forever. After tightening the screws, many of the rails are still not properly fit against one another, creating bumps and making it impossible to get smooth shots repeatedly. I have to say that for the price, this really is not worth the time or aggravation. The product itself looks cool, but it's functionality does not live up to it's looks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hard set up We have used this system 4 times now over the last six months on different types of shoots. Setting it up has never gotten any easier, with a significant amount of time spent trying to get the rails and cross ties to say in place as you move one one cross tie to the next. The rails constantly pop out of the ties and it is almost impossible to get a final setup where the radius is smooth and consistent and all cross ties are in place. The only way we have been able to get it to work is to eliminate some of the ties and let the tripod dolly adjust itself to the variances as it moves along the tracks. Not the best solution but the only way we can make it work at all. The system is a pain in a certain part of the anatomy to use.
