With the 7" FPV Monitor with 5.8 GHz Diversity Receiver from 3D Robotics, monitor and receiver are combined into a single unit for enhanced portability in the field. The 7" LCD screen features a 1024 x 600 and a brightness of 300 cd/m2. For added versatility, it incorporates an HDMI input and an analog A/V - enabling it to be used with other devices besides just the built-in receiver. Furthermore, two A/V outputs allow you to connect a secondary monitor or allow a friend to plug in a set of FPV goggles.
Designed with wireless video in mind, special signal processing means the image won't cut to a "blue screen" if the signal gets weak. Instead you will continue to see an image, even if it becomes incredibly noisy. The 5.8 GHz receiver features 8 channels with 4 groups per channel for a total of 32 choices. Dual diversity technology means there are two antennas working simultaneously, while the receiver automatically switches to the one with the best signal for maximum performance.
The monitor and receiver both power from an included 1000 mAh LiPo battery, and there is a DC input accepting 7 o 28V external DC sources. A sun hood is included to help enhance visibility when working outdoors in bright sunlight.
