Is there an adjustment for screen brightness in a dark room? Is this a radio not just a speaker?

Asked by: Brian1949
Our JBL Horizon Hotel's screen brightness automatically adjusts and there no manual controls on it. The Horizon Hotel also doesn't have any radio function as those are included on the JBL Horizon, which is a a different product. https://bit.ly/2zwFkYM

Hi we bought the horizon hotel for all our rooms but now we are facing an issue and it is that the screen is going blind like in black out and it is not working anymore. Can you please let me know what I can do?

Asked by: brendaco
The best option here is to send the speakers to a third-party repair center to have them checked. If your JBL Horizon Hotel is still within its 1-year warranty, please reach out to us. https://support.jbl.com/us/en/

Will the time automatically update for the change at day light savings time?

Asked by: GirlScout
The JBL Horizon Hotel does not adjust automatically to Daylight Savings Time. It has a DST switch at the bottom of the speaker that we recommend trying out after setting the time, to best fit your DST settings in your state and time zone. The switch should allow you to easily toggle reducing or adding an hour to the set time after that.

question

Is this suitable for Israel in terms of electricity voltage and radio stations?
Asked by: Anonymous
Sorry, I 've not been in Israel so far, so I don't know the technical characteristics of the electrical system and about the radio broadcasting regulations. But realistically almost all electronic devices produced today, in any country, will fit perfectly well on every country. The voltage rating of these devices are usually rated from 110V to 240V and probably the only problem you will have is the outlet plug format (but even if this is the case, commercial adaptors are easily available on stores). Concerning radio stations: there is worldwide standards adopted by virtually every country and certainly Israel also subscribe these standards. So, I would bet that this radio-clock is suitable for Israel.

How long the battery will last?

Asked by: Toshie
The Horizon follows the concept of Battery Back Up units (BBU's). This is NOT a portable device. Once a power outage happens or if the speaker is unplugged from the wall, the unit then uses the back up/emergency power coming from the battery which is a CR-2032 lithium battery. That being the case, the unit will function normally only when plugged in. When power is lost, and it is on backup power, it will retain the clock with NO display, and will give a faint beep for the alarm for a maximum of 30 seconds. The unit needs to be continuously plugged in for it to function as you would expect.

Hi. Does jbl horizon support connectivity via aux port?

Asked by: Ebenut
The JBL HORIZON does have an Aux-In port beside the Power port at the back of the unit. You can definitely connect your laptop, tablet or mobile phone using an auxiliary cable and stream music directly through the speaker.
