question

what do I need to conect this to a 240volt AC power source?
Asked by: Bob C.
This E6 Battery Dummy Pack is meant to be used with a large battery by Laparte. In order to be used with a 220VAC system, you need the Canon ACK-E6 AC Adapter Kit for Select Canon Cameras. Please note: you will need an adapter plug for the cord and this item is currently on back order and there is a shipping delay of 7-14 business days.

question

What size/spec is the DC plug on this adapter?
Asked by: Kevin S.
The size/spec is not listed. According to Landparte, it is a standard interface. Once in hand it should be easy to determine what size it is. It would be one of the sizes listed on this page. wikipedia.org/wiki/Coaxial_power_connector. Unfortunately is it not possible for us to pull stock from the warehouse to determine what the size is.

question

Does this have a voltage regulator in it? I want to plug it into an Arri Alexa 3 pin which outputs 24-27v. IOW can I use a higher Voltage battery as the source such as a V-Lock (14.4v)
Asked by: Joe
This dummy battery does not have a regulator. If you'd like to use A mount or V mount battery for continuous powering, please use it with LanParte Battery Pinch. The Battery Pinch is voltage regulated and offers several powering jacks with different voltage outputs for different gears. Please check out LanParte VBP-01 VBP-02 VBP-03(for V-Mount) or ABP-01(A-Mount)
