question

Does this filter withstand the heat of a 1000W or 2000W fresnel tungsten light?
Asked by: Jaime J
The Roscolux filters are designed to insure the longest possible life under hot theatrical lights. While they will work fine with 1000W and 2000W lights, all filter gels may eventually warp and/or melt under high heat and constant usage. However, these are among the best options and are the industry standard for high temperature theatrical light fixture usage. They have a softening point of 125 C and a melting point of 300 C.
