The wirelessly-controlled black zim 3D Printer from Zeepro uses two extruders to create objects as fine as 50 microns in sizes up to 5.9 x 5.9 x 5.9". Use your smartphone, tablet, or computer to select and send files to the zim for printing, and watch a live feed of your print being captured and broadcast by the onboard camera.
The zim uses Zeepro cartridges that feed filament into the printer automatically. These cartridges transmit information about the filament's physical properties, which the zim uses to configure settings that will best ensure a quality print. Use ABS or PLA filament for the body of your build, and use soluble PVA filament to print support structures that can be dissolved in water when your project is completed.
The zim is built from a heavy, solid piece of aluminum to minimize vibrations that can reduce print quality. The build platform is made of heat-resistant glass that is precisely positioned with magnets. Several 3D models and two PLA cartridges are included with the zim, so you can start printing as soon as you open the box.
The zim connects to your Wi-Fi network or directly to your smartphone, tablet, or computer with no cable. If needed, it can still be connected by Ethernet.
Navigate from Your Smart Device
The zim does not feature an LCD screen, buttons, or any controls other than the power button. It is navigated from any device connected to the Internet - your smartphone, tablet, or computer. iOS, Windows, and Android devices are all compatible with zim.
Single Head with Two Extruders
Print with two colors or two materials at a time with zim's dual extruder head. Use ABS, PLA, or soluble PVA to print at resolutions as fine as 50 microns.
Smart Cartridge System
Zeepro filaments are supplied on cartridges that require no loading or feeding. Simply insert the cartridge into the compartment and push it down and zim will load and unload filament automatically. An added advantage of this system is that it protects the filaments from moisture. RFID tags on the cartridges relay information to the printer on the filament's color, thermal characteristics, and melting points. Based on this information, the zim sets up exact temperature and speed settings for ideal print results.
Watch the progress of your print remotely from your iOS, Android, or Windows device. Just connect to the Internet and watch the live feed from zim's camera.
