I own a Sony 6300 and a couple of lenses. The sony 6300 and the A7 seems to use the same Sony E lens mount. Does it mean that my lenses would work fine on theAony A7 ? (I would be ok with some vignetting for exemple).
Asked by: Edouard
Your lenses will work but if they are cropped sensor lenses, you will only get about 40% resolution on the A7. The cropped lenses will not cover the entire sensor of the A7, thereby, only utilizing part of the sensor.

Asked by: EDWARD J
Yes, you can take a double exposure in manual mode with the Sony A7 II, but you have to download a Multiple Exposure app in order to do so. You can find the app by going to the Sony PlayMemories Camera Apps store.

Does this camera have eye autofocus? If so, does it work well for stills?
Asked by: George
It works only in single shot mode, you need to assign this function to some button to use it, then just press - focus - shot. Not for dynamic scenes. Next gen is definitely better. I would recommend to buy a7iii, if you want to use this feature often.

I'm torn between the Sony A7ii and the Sony a6400. Which should I choose? I will be primarily using this for video.
Asked by: MASAITIS
Hi! You need to know the purpose of the camera you want to buy, the 6400 is compact, lightweight, with an ideal viewfinder for Vlog and selfie, the A7ii is a camera with a more professional look, if its use is for professional recording video I would definitely buy it the A7ii for the PRO visual suit. I bought the sonyA7II with a 24-70 lens from the kit, I also bought a vertical grip to extend the usage time with 2 batteries, the image quality and ease of working with the camera surprised me a lot.
