With support for a theoretical connection rate of up to 1.3 Gbps, the Aironet 2702i Series Access Point with Internal Antennas from Cisco is designed to provide enhanced wireless connectivity to a variety of devices including smartphones, tablets, computers, and more thanks to integrated multiple-input-multiple-output technology. This technology utilizes multiple antennas to produce three spatial streams for a more stable, reliable wireless connection. This Cisco access point also features Optimized AP Roaming to streamline the process of selecting and switching to the access point offering the strongest signal.

MIMO Technology
The 802.11ac with 3 x 4 Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) technology supports three spatial streams. This architecture offers a sustained 1.3 Gb/s rates over an optimal range for optimal capacity and reliability.
RF Architecture
The access point runs on a purpose-built, chipset with an enhanced RF architecture. This chipset provides a high-density experience for enterprise networks designed for mission-critical and high-performance applications. The access point is a component of 802.11ac-enabled APs that delivers a robust mobility experience.
Cross-AP Noise Reduction
It enables APs, to collaborate in real-time about RF conditions so that users connect with optimized signal quality and performance.
Optimized AP Roaming
Ensure that client devices associate with the AP in their coverage range that offers the fastest data rate available.
Cisco ClientLink 3.0 Technology
Improve downlink performance to all mobile devices, including one, two, and three-spatial-stream devices on 802.11ac. At the same time, the technology improves battery life on mobile devices.
Cisco CleanAir Technology
It is enhanced with 80 MHz channel support. CleanAir delivers proactive, high-speed spectrum intelligence across 20, 40, and 80 MHz wide channels to combat performance problems due to wireless interference.
MIMO Equalization
Optimizes uplink performance and reliability by reducing the impact of signal fade.
Connections
The access point sustains high speed connections far from the AP. The result is up to three times greater availability of 1.3 Gb/s rates in the Cisco environment for optimum mobile device performance and user experiences.
Cisco also offers 802.11n and 802.11ac antennas, delivering optimal coverage to different deployment scenarios.
Scalability
The Cisco Aironet 2600 access point is a component of the Cisco Unified Wireless Network, which can scale to up to 18,000 access points with full layer three motilities across central or remote locations on the enterprise campus, in branch offices, and at remote sites.
