This Softube for Joker 1600 from K5600 transforms a harsh narrow beam into a soft, even linear source. These characteristics make the Softube ideal for hairlighting, sidelighting, corner lighting, large vehicle interiors or wherever a compact, long, soft source is needed. Based on the fiber optic light guides principle, the Softube is a light-trapper that disperses the light from the Joker 1600's (purchased separately) parabolic reflector into the tube and bounces it off a mirrored cap creating a soft homogenous wrap-around effect. The unit consists of three parts: an attachment ring, a translucent Joker Gel and a mirrored cap.
