    A-Neuvideo ANI-HDB70 reviews

HDMI PoE Extender over HDBaseT is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great little Gadget If you need a send your HDMI signal over a long distance. This will do the job. Once I figure what ethernet cable to use. I need to send signal over 175ft. It took me 5 days to findout why I could not video over 75ft of ethernet cable. First I thought it was the device. Similar problem with the set of Avenview HDBaseT HDMI 4K CAT 5/6 Extender with Bi-Directional IR. Signal was ok under 50 ft over ethernet cable. I called both companies. They said they test the equipment. I might need to adjust to 720p. This does not made sense to me. So I order 6 different brands of ethernet. Most of them did not work at all. I was very frustrate. Is the device DOA? Finally, I made my own 200 175 ft Cat5e cable. It works. Then I order the inexpensive Cat6 UTP. It works too. So watch be sure to use UTP & 568B. If you plan to use it under 50ft, Cat5e, Cat6 STP, Cat 7 with 568B specification. They will work. Over 75 fit, I suggest you use Cat5e & Cat6 UTP...This device do run a little hot.. I will give it a 4 stars if I know all this fact ahead of time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great This hdbaset extender worked well running from HDMI splitter to Samsung TV over 100' stp cat6 in a high emi khall through wall & drop ceiling with light fixtures and air conditioners. Our previous system (non hdbaset over utp cat5) would flicker a lot when the lights turn on or ac turns on or it would not connect at all. This solved all handshake issues and delivered a solid steady video signal. Includes ir sensors so you can turn on TV using remote from a console far away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing HDMI Extender I have had absolutely zero probems with this HDMI extender. It works just as I expected, extending my HDMI cable over 70 feet of cat 5e cable at 4k, with no loss of color quality. The power over Ethernet works perfectly, as I have only one of the boxes plugged in to AC power and it powers the other box attached solely with cat 5e. Overall a great product that accomplishes its job spectacularly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product We are using the A-Neuvideo PoE extender to send a video signal about 100 ft to a monitor on the back wall of the church. The PoE funtionality is great because you do not have to plug it in at the TV location. Works well, plug and play. No issues with getting it to work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked As Expected This device did exactly what I needed it to do with no configuration necessary. The PoE is perfect for the remote display device where installing an electrical outlet would have been costly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The answer to my issues. Do not buy a cheap extender! It’s not worth the headache. This extended in conjunction with the same company’s cat5 hdmi 8x splitter is now running 4 projectors and 4 led tvs seamlessly.
