What is the range of the built in WiFi that allows remote control? Is there a way to extend the range? I’m trying to shoot some backyard squirrels and the connection is lost after only a short distance. It works fine for downloading pictures when the camera remains near the phone or iPad

The wifi range, when using the Leica D-LUX (Typ 109) Digital Camera is less than 100 feet. The only way to get an extended reach, would be to use a different remote control system, with a different App. The Tether Tools Case Air Wireless Tethering System will work up to 150'.:https://bhpho.to/2howy4i

question

Isn't this camera exactly like the Panasonic LX 100 except this one is made in Japan and the other one is made in China. Are people just buying it for almost double the price because of the future resale value/red dot?Part of why it was more expensive was because it came with lighroom but it doesn't anymore

question

Can I use filters (UV, Circular pol.) with the auto lens cap? Thanks!
Asked by: Yury L.
Yes you can. I use both the UV and a B&W circular polarizer. Both work perfectly and do not affect the manual focus function because its ring (that of the manual focus) is set in another part of the camera (before the aperture ring).
