Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Informative - 4 Hours of Great Info I purchased this at B&H Photo to learn about the many features on the D750 which I acquired recently. I usually won't spend this amount on a DVD Tutorial but this is 4 hours long and loaded with great information for a beginner or intermediate photographer. I am still considering photo courses in a classroom but this was a great start to get a great overview on this camera and to understand my deficiencies. Michael knows his way around the D750 very well. He explained the features and answered many questions I had. I watched it in it's entirety and will now revisit several chapters to clarify the information he shared.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great thorough instructional DVD This is a great DVD for this camera. In addition, it has several chapters specifically made to help beginning photographers- not just for the use of this camera, which is very thorough and helpful. He gives pointers on how to compose a perfect portrait shot as well as how to set up any shot so your pictures look professionally done. I enjoyed having a crash course in beginning photography in the chapters that explained exposure, f stop and what it does, shutter speed, etc. Highly recommended for the beginning and experienced photographer who wants a brush up course as well. The video made it easier for me to get out there using the D750 faster than with my previous cameras.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth The Investment. I came from a D5000 and thru the years upgraded to two pro lenses. 24-70 and the 70-200 f.28 knowing I would get a full frame and be able to use it to it's full potential. So here I am with the D750. I knew the D5000 inside and out and wanted to be able to jump into my new D750 and run with it. I actually ordered this video the day after I ordered the camera. I originally didn't want to spent the extra dollars after investing in the camera but am so glad I did. The video is camera specific. Watching this with the camera in front of me, pausing the video, trying things out and starting again and even going back to watch parts again. This video doesn't tell you everything of course but it does get you off to a strong start. By the end of the course, you will know where the important things are and get on with it or you can save a few bucks and figure it out yourself. In other words, if your checking out this video, you need it and won't be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great DVD I received this DVD as a gift and I could not have been happier. It is a great DVD! It helped give me a jumpstart to better understanding my camera. With all the menus and functions the camera has it was a bit confusing. The DVD helped clear up the things I didn't understand. The video even has other information like lens choices and what effects the different lenses may have. Love this DVD!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good High-Level Crash Course I'm familiar with most of the DSLR camera settings, but the D750 has few new bells and whistles. This was a good introductory DVD covering all settings, plus taught me a few things I didn't already know. it's easy to jump around from topic to topic, or you can go straight through the DVD in a logical fashion. Very useful, and I'd recommend it to anyone just starting out with a new DSLR.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I like it I really liked this DVD. I got the D-750 to replace my D-200 and had no idea where to start. This was a big help to me going through the menu's and explaining what things were. Michael made it easy to understand. Lots of good information. If you're new to this type of camera it's a great DVD and if you already know everything not so much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is an Excellent guide and is a great reference tool. This is an excellent guide to using the Nikon D750. Michael Maven is clear in his presentation, he discusses details one needs to know, shows how things work, and summarizes the points he is making, demonstrating, and encouraging the viewer to work along with him. I like his approach and have learned a lot that is helping me with the camera and my photos.
