I was looking for a fast wide angle, so I bought the 16mm+ultra wide converter for my a6000. Image quality is only ok. I was hoping for something much sharper. I wish the sharpness was closer to that of the sony sel 35mm f/1.8 prime (which I love). Also, to my eyes, the silver lens looks a little strange paired with the black body. Bottom line, though, is I wish IQ/sharpness were better.

This is a very limited application item, but if own either of the lenses on which the Converter mounts, it would be silly not to get it. Easy to use, carry and produces good image quality. Good value for the money.

I use it with 16mm lens and a7s. mainly for gimbal use. Works great for video. Auto focus very useful for gimbal type of work. This new version also works with Panasonic 14mm f2.5 lens. I have tested. It works. So really nice adapter for either sony or m4/3 system. For the price, you can not go wrong.

The Sony VCLECU2 Ultra Wide converter will not be compatible with the Sony 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 that comes with the a6000. The converter is only compatible with the Sony 16mm f/2.8 and 20mm f/2.8 lenses.
