The V-Mount Battery Plate from Wooden Camera features an IDX V-mount plate and a DC connector for powering your camera using a long-lasting V-mount battery. This plate features a 16" cable that outputs a regulated 12V to your camera and two D-Tap ports for powering accessories. For an adjustable rod-based mount, add a Battery Slide or Recorder Slide paired with an appropriate 15mm LWS, 15mm studio, or 19mm Rod Clamp.

The V-Mount Battery Plate from Wooden Camera features an IDX V-mount plate and a DC connector for powering your camera using a long-lasting V-mount battery. This plate features a 16" cable that outputs a regulated 12V to your camera and two D-Tap ports for powering accessories. This IDX V-Mount Battery Plate works perfectly for my Sony FS5. It has a very solid and professional feel to it and I love the AC cord it comes with that plugs right into the DC port on my camera. It is an awesome unit and does the job. A word of warning though. You probably better purchase now if you are needing this because the manufacturer's pricing will be going up soon. B&H has the best pricing in the world on this one.

I think I know the answer here but want to be !00% sure before purchasing. Will this V mount camera battery plate (for my sony FS5) work with the IDX A-CP(A) Universal Cheese Plate & 15mm Clamp Adapter? Is 'Universal' the key word here or am I just hoping? Thank you.
