To allow more than one person to view slide simultaneously, the TU-17021C CoreScope 2 Dual View Microscope with Achromatic Objectives from Ken-A-Vision offers two 45° inclined eyepieces with pointers that are facing in opposite directions. This microscope also features a floating and rotating stage, 4x, 10x, 40xS achromatic objectives, and a 360° rotating head. The retractable 40xS objectives has a spring-loaded lens which will retract when it touches the slide in order to protect the lens and the slide. Both the turret and the included objectives adhere to DIN microscope objective standard. This means that you can use any DIN objective with this microscope without worrying about your microscope ever becoming obsolete. The supplied Achromatic objectives reduce color distortions introduced by imperfections in optical elements better than regular objectives and provide higher contrast images. The lenses are also coated with special coatings that protect their surfaces against mold in high humidity and high heat regions. The parfocalled and parcentered design allows for switching objectives without having to realign your sample and without losing focus. The focusing system has a coaxial coarse and fine focus adjustments with and a scale. To view details of our specimens more easily, the microscope features a white LED illumination system with adjustable brightness and an On-Off switch. The bright white light from the bottom LED emitter is focused with a light shaping lens and can be collimated using a diaphragm with five apertures of different sizes.
The microscope also features a round 3.8" floating stage with two spring-loaded clips for holding your specimen slides securely. This floating stage can be rotated and moved in any direction and angle in a horizontal plane. The frame of the microscope is made of cast aluminum with a cream-colored enamel finish. Included with the microscope is a USB cable, a wall charger with, three rechargeable AA batteries, and a dustcover. To recharge your microscope's batteries, just connect the microscope's USB cable to the wall charger or a USB port.
