The GA-X99M-Gaming 5 Micro-ATX Motherboard from Gigabyte features an LGA2011 socket that can accept the Intel Core i7 Extreme Edition and Intel Xeon E5 series processors. This allows you to build a reliable and stable high-end system, which can handle 3D graphics, editing video, and more. To support the power-hungry and energy-sensitive components, this motherboard is built with all digital IR PWM and PowlRstage controllers to deliver the right amount of power. It also offers four DIMM slots that can hold a total of 32GB of DDR4 RAM chips for quad-channel memory architecture.

This motherboard provides PCI Express 3.0 slots that can support CrossFire or SLI dual-graphics technology to offer you high-resolution and responsive graphics. For connecting to optical and storage drives, six SATA III connectors are available and allow for data transfers up to 6 Gb/s. When you need faster access to your data, this motherboard includes the M.2 slot and a SATA Express connector, which can transfer data up to 10 Gb/s.
