Its two front corners are reinforced with black metal edges, which prevent the pack from being crushed if you decide to stack several boxes on top of one another. Removing the lid allows the front edge to drop, allowing for easy insertion or removal of contents.

The Drop-Front Box is designed for long-term storage, helping conserve matted photographs, artwork, and other important documents. It is made with scuff-resistant 60-point board, which is acid-free and has a pH level between 8.0 and 9.0. Additionally, the box features a lignin-free construction and PAT-safe certification.

This box perfectly fits 11 x 14 prints. It's sturdy and holds up to frequent use. The drop-front is a nice feature to make sure prints aren't damaged when putting them in the box.

Like the headline these are hard to find and B&H has a substantial amount and sizes at the best price. They are well made, great quality and durability. No bug is going to get in this box.

Archival boxes for storage of prints and negatives are not cheap and I do not like spending money to buy them. But nothing else is satisfactory, and from time to time I have to cough up the money for more of them. These by Print File with the metal edges and sold by B&H are very good quality and the equal of any I have bought from archival specialty dealers.

With lots of prints to store, 40 years of photography, I need a box that is priced reasonably. This 3 deep box did the trick. You might want a sturdier box for your final matted prints, but for work in progress or work you just can't throw out, these drop front boxes are perfect.
