question

Does this lens require an adapter to mount on the A7r?
Asked by: Anonymous
As the Samyang 135mm f/2.0 ED UMC Lens for Sony E Mount, B&H # SA1352SE, uses the Sony E-mount on the rear of the lens, the lens would directly attach to the Sony Alpha a7R Mirrorless Digital Camera without the use of an adapter.

does TTL work with this lens?

does TTL work with this lens?
Asked by: Thunderbulll
Because this is a manual lens, the Samyang 135mm f/2.0 ED UMC lens does not have electronic contacts for communicating with your Sony E-mount camera. However, as TTL is mostly based on metering, TTL should not be adversely affected by this lens or its lack of electronic communication.

question

Does the lens transfer the EXIF date to the camera? i.e. Would Adobe Lightroom know the photo was taken with a Sony a7 + Samyang 135/2 lens for a profile correction?
Asked by: Eric
That lens don't transfer information, but there is not much to correct.. No distortions, no Colorado fringing and just a bit of vignette when f-2.
