How well does VR work with D7000? How does this ...

How well does VR work with D7000? How does this lens compare to 200-500 zoom, especially for bird photography?
Asked by: stephen
Both lenses are great! If you are very interested in details of your image, it may be important to focus adjust your lens to the camera it is on. The 300mm is a bit faster for lower light subjects and this should be considered. Lastly, it boils down to how far your subject is from you! For wildlife, the 200-500mm is a better lens.

question

HI Will a Metabones or similar Nikon to Sony E be compatible with this lens ?
Asked by: Rob B.
Any of the Nikon to e-mount adapters will allow one to attach this lens to a Sony e-mount camera. Auto exposure and auto focus control will depend on the adapter. Most adapters will allow any electronic control.

Asked by: Steven
3D tracking will still work very well with that combination since the aperture only drops to F5.6 with the 1.4x TC.
