The M-8x AR Voltage Regulator from Furman is intended to protect your sensitive electronic equipment from problems caused by AC line voltage irregularities such as brownouts, sags, and over-voltage conditions. Such irregularities can cause audio tonal changes, digital equipment malfunctions such as loss of MIDI programs or other data, or in extreme cases, permanent damage. The M-8x AR can be used in a variety of pro audio and A/V applications common in studio recording, live sound reinforcement and other scenarios.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from you need this product to protect your expensive equipment This unit seems to function well, thus giving me some peace of mind over the quality of electricity my equipment is exposed to. I just lost the amps of a pair of powered speakers due to issues with electricity provided by the venue. I feel much more confident with this units display of info about the electricity.
