Extended Battery for GoPro HERO3/3+ with Dual Charger and Backdoors is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from At Last Wasabi Extended Battery, is everything I could have hoped for when powering my GoPro Hero3. After the first charge the battery lasted 4 hours and 55 minutes at 1080x30. I always cycle my batteries and by the 4th charge the go pro, lasted 5 hours and 23 minutes. This is the later BTR-ABPAK304-JWP, 3400Ah version. Ordering was simple on the BH photo website, postage quite expensive. More than the price of the battery, so ordered 2 for hardly any extra postage wise, but then again i'm the UK. 6 days to get here, well packaged and no problems what so ever.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Addition to GoPro Hero 3 Pros: Gives you much longer recording time. I achieved at least double the standard battery life. The dual charger lets me recharge this battery and the stock batteries simultaneously. Great for getting back to shooting more quickly. Several back covers for any model 3/3+ you might have. Cons: Back covers fit really tight with the top latch. I have to be careful when opening the back that I don't put too much stress on the latch. Getting the battery out is tricky. I think the side button/hinge is supposed to release the latch on the body of the camera, but I can't get it to do that. I use a small screwdriver or fingernail to lift the latch. Overall, solid product with minimal complaints. Would recommend to anyone needing longer battery life from your GoPro.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Extended power Seamless fit with my GoPro 3+. I used it while freediving in 32F waters in Iceland. The battery held up well to the cold. The charger can also be used to power the OEM battery. The Wasabi backdoor had a small gap at the closing that didn't inspire confidence (hence the 4-star rating), so I ordered the OEM backdoor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wasabi Power Extended Battery This is great. I got 4 and a half hours of video from this pack. I used it to watch my kids when I had to go to work and before there mom got home. I knew they were up to something and they got caught.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 5 stars for life / 1 star for quality 1. On one hand, battery life isn't just better than the standard OEM GoPro battery, which you'd expect given that it's an extended battery, but it also holds its charge much better when not in use. This is key to me since my GoPro often goes long periods without use. I can't speak to others' experiences but the GoPro batteries that came with my GoPro 3+ Silver Edition have been horrible at maintaining a charge when not in use. From new, they lost most, if not all, of their charge over the course of a couple of days if not used. I've had the GoPro in my car for extended periods (7-10 days) without use with minimal to no impact on charge. Even after sitting in cold temps it stays fully charged. ***** 2. On the other hand, I use my GoPro almost exclusively in my car on a suction mount. After creating a number of videos with an irritating rattle, I was able to isolate the source of the rattle to the battery itself. Initially, I thought the rattle might be coming from the mount or the case. I did some research online and found that some models had rattles in the GoPro itself and, ultimately, determined that the rattles were not coming from either of the power/record buttons on the body of the camera, too. Unfortunately, while I love the performance of the battery, it's basically unusable because of the rattle. * 3. Unfortunately, because I don't use my GoPro frequently enough, it took me more than 30 days to track down the source of the problem and B&H was unwilling to do anything about it; simply referring me to Wasabi Power -- which, if you check around, has horrible ratings for customer service. I have my fingers crossed that Wasabit Power will do the right thing and provide me with a replacement batter -- I WANT to love this battery but I don't have a good feeling. I will happily come back and update my review if either B&H or Wasabi Power does the right thing under the circumsances by replacing what was clearly a defective product from day 1.
