Mount an accessory to your rig with the Varavon Magic Arm V11. With a full extension of 11", this articulating magic arm can re-orient to fit your setup. Near the center locking joint is the locking lever, which when tightened fixes the arm in its position. The center locking joint is toothed for extra security to prevent slipping. Each end has a 1/4"-20 male thread and a flat rubberized washer to improve the connection. For other mounting possibilities, a 1/4"-20 female adapter and a shoe-mount adapter are included.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Killer Magic Arm A great magic arm with a great build! Can't believe the quality difference between this and the equivalent Pearstone, and they both cost the same. Been shooting with this on my rig for a few months now and couldn't be happier. The Varavon is extremely sturdy feeling, and is built completely out of metal. No plastic anywhere. This makes it a bit heavier than some other options, but not by much. The knob's shape helps you get a solid tighten on the arm, and it never feels like you are cranking it too hard. Handles my Odyssey 7Q+ WITH a Sony FP-970 battery, no problem, from all mounting points. Only con that I can predict is that the black powder coat will eventually start to scratch off, but it's taken a beating so far without showing any wear.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid arm The locking mechanism is rock solid and that is the main thing. The only problem, which is probably true of all Magic Arms, is that it's not easy to lock the ends. I'm attaching an Atomos Shogun Flame to a cage and it sometimes shifts either where the arm is attached to the cold shoe or where the monitor is attached. I guess the next step would be to get some sort of arm with a rosette system so that there was no chance of the ends loosening. Admittedly the Shogun Flame is a pretty heavy piece of equipment and the arm would have less movement with something lighter attached. Once more, though, the locking mechanism its' self is excellent and that's why I bought the arm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great for Macro Flash Support I bought two Varavon Magic Arm V11 units to hold two flashes for a custom macro rig (see attached photo). I was concerned that the magic arms might not support the flashes when the arms were fully extended but in fact they work very well. The arms can be adjusted to just about any position imaginable (hence the name magic I suppose) and then with the twist of one knob they lock securely in position with no creep. Initially I had some trouble with the cold shoes that hold the flashes slipping relative to the rubber pad on the end of the magic arm plate but a drop of super glue locked the cold shoes in place and the magic arm itself never slipped. I am very pleased with the performance and price of this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Have similar products from others, this is just better The idea is to be able to adjust the MagicArm easily and to have it be stiff when it is tightened. The Varavon Magic Arm meets/exceeds those requirements. I have a similar product from another manufacturer and it doesn't tighten up nearly as well. This product is rock solid. I couldn't see buying any other Magic Arm. Exceptional quality at a good price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent Articulating Arm I bought this as an interim articulating arm, as I wait for my Bright Tangerine Titan Arm to arrive. It's pretty solid for the most part and certainly feels more robust than the Pearstone arms. In some positions it's a bit too light-duty for my SmallHD 701 Lite monitor with batteries, and it can be a bit scary. However, it'll do just fine until the Titan comes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice arm Very solid. Nice price. Uses a ratcheting mechanism at the elbow, so that's rock solid. The ends are as solid as you can make the 1/4-20 threads. I used a mini quick release plate with Loctite on the treads to keep it from moving.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Value! I've used the cheap ones and I've used the expensive ones. This one is in the sweet spot. Fantastic build quality and durability for an absolutely stellar price. Loved the first one so much, I bought a second.
