Battery die too fast

Battery dies too fast , fully charged battery drained in 55 mins , 3-4 minutes less . And it took more than 7 hours to charge fully batteries . Light is really good $$ . But u need to have a lot of batteries if you want to shoot video on run and gun way . They work good with power and simultaneously charge the batteries too . Batt is 6600 mah , you can use higher power batteries, but they are expensive . So better to buy more similar batteries and fast charger !! And still looking for fast way to charge them

I purchased these lights over a year ago and have put them through many productions indoor and out. These lights are portable, easy to use, relatively versatile, don't get hot at all and produce very nice light. Awesome for 3 point and basic setups. In bright outdoor locations these lights are not effective, the build quality is not the mosy sturdy, and there are no barn doors... but they don't work well with led panels anyway. I've never had flickering issues with these lights. For dimmable, bi-colour, battery powered lights these are fantastic for the price!!

Solid LED Panel

Have to agree with a YT reviewer (of the YN360) who called this the golden age of lighting. We really are spoiled these days with all of the LED lighting options out there. I already own a couple Amaran AL-HR528S's, the spotlight version of the 528, which has 144 fewer LED's than this 672. The 528S's served admirably, providing interview key and fill for a feature documentary. For the 672's, I decided to stick with daylight (Aputure also thoughtfully provides a tungsten gel) for extra brightness, but this time I decided to give the W version a try, which has a wider spread than the S. What a difference! Whereas the S has a nice roll-off that adds a vignette-like effect to your subject, the W lights up the whole room. Coupled w/ the EZ-Box+ softbox/egg crate kit, you can narrow the 672W back down to a 35 degree spread if need be. So you have a lot of options, 5600K or 3200K with the gel, wide spread or spot with the soft box/egg crate kit add-on. You can also run these off Sony NP-F batteries, providing additional flexibility for outdoor night shooting. There are a couple reasons I'm not giving these lights 5 stars: 1) they're a bit pricey compared to some other LED panels out there; and 2) it's 2018 and there should be an RGB option by now. Otherwise, these panels are solid, reliable workhorses.

Great lights for the price. I've had them now for about 6 months and they have held up quite well. They are very versatile and I've used them for everything from product photography to portable lighting for home renovation. You definitely want to upgrade from the cheap brackets that come with these lights (mine stripped out after only a few uses) to something like the Manfrotto 026 Swivel Umbrella Adaptor (Lite-Tite). The battery attachment slots seem pretty weak/cheap as well but for now, they've held up. Maybe it's common knowledge but I found it helps to push down, then slide out the Sony type batteries when removing. I chose these over the bi-color panels for maximum light output. They are quite bright and work well for video when place close to the subject. They are also well suited for table top and product photography especially for the ease of set up and use on location. Their small size allows for some creative lighting approaches. However, they obviously do not replace the power and output of a strobe. I'd definitely recommend these lights for anyone who wants to keep their lighting kit simple, small and lightweight. And at this price you will not be disappointed with the value of these lights.

This light is a great substitute if you are imitating natural daylight. The light comes with two batteries which is a nice add in. Not only does the device have a cord to run power from, but the device is able to charge the batteries as you use them! I feel this purchase is money well spent.

Really Bright for Me!

I recently used this light as my key light in a small video production. Yes it was in a home studio, however it was more than bright enough at the lowest setting. The CRI was perfect! Light weight, it is plastic, so not hard to move around. I would say this one is perfect for small home/ YouTube type projects.

It is not. This light is not waterproof. You would need to look at the Aputure Amaran AL-MW Mini LED Light, B&H # APALMW, for a waterproof light. https://bhpho.to/2SLQdNu
