Kramer 711/712 Overview

Extend composite video and independent audio for up to 1200 ft with the Kramer 711N/712N Transmitter Receiver Kit, from B&H. Install up to three units side-by-side in a 1U rack using an optional Kramer RK-3TR rack adapter. The front panel of each unit is rackmount-intended, featuring simply a blank faceplate with an "ON" LED indicator, but the set can also be used desktop mounted.

Both units also feature Kramer's Power Connect technology, which allows you to power both devices from one power source. In fact, you can incorporate additional devices featuring Power Connect and power your entire setup from one power source.

Kramer 711N Composite Video & Stereo Audio over Twisted Pair Transmitter

The Kramer 711N Transmitter sends composite video and unbalanced stereo audio up to 1200 ft over twisted-pair to a matching 712N receiver, sold separately. It's suited for use in educational institutions, broadcast studios, medical facilities, among many other environments.

This product features Kramer's Power Connect technology, which allows only one device in the system to be connected to a power source and power the remaining units. (All units in the system must feature Power Connect technology to use this feature.)

Three units can be mounted side by side in a 1RU rack space by using the separately available RK-3T rack kit.

Kramer 712N Composite Video & Stereo Audio over Twisted Pair (Receiver)

The 712N Composite Video & Stereo Audio over Twisted Pair (Receiver) from Comprehensive/Kramer is the receiver unit of a paired kit that is designed for sending composite video and unbalanced stereo audio signals over twisted-pair cable. The unit a twisted-pair signal from the receiver, then converts it to composite video and stereo audio signals for output. This solution is well suited for use in educational institutions, broadcast studios, and medical facilities, among many other potential uses.

Other features include a looping input, selectable input signal termination, level (gain) & EQ (peaking) controls, and bandwidth of 85MHz. It offers a general working range of up to 1200', although greater distances may be achieved dependent up on signal resolution and cable type. This device is designed to work with unshielded twisted-pair cable such as CAT5.

This product features Kramer's Power Connect technology, meaning that only one device in the system needs to be connected to an electrical source to power all system units (all units in the system must feature Power Connect technology to use this feature). This unit belongs to the Kramer TOOLS family of products and (3) units can be mounted side by side in 1U of a standard equipment rack by using the separately available RK-3T rack kit.

Note:
This unit must be paired with a 711N transmitter unit in order to achieve a complete solution.
