Slightly larger than an EL34, this 6L6GC octal power tube delivers bite, definition, and plenty of headroom.

Inspired by the 6L6, which was developed by RCA in 1936 as the first power tetrode
Strongly associated with the sound of American amplifiers
Great for instrument amplifiers and hi-fi equipment
Tight and defined lows, transparent midrange, and shimmering highs
Focused bite with defined articulation
In comparison to the EL34 and EL84, the 6L6GC is characterized by higher headroom before breaking up
Each tube is meticulously measured for all critical parameters of performance including transconductance, gain, noise, and microphonics
Tubes are selected by hand, rigorously tested, subjected to an extended burn-in period for stability, and remeasured before final packing
