Canon Powershot ELPH 350 HS Digital Camera (Silver)
Key Features
 • 20.2 MP High-Sensitivity CMOS Sensor
 • DIGIC 4+ Image Processor
 • 12x Optical Zoom Lens
 • 25-300mm (35mm Equivalent)
Capture 20.2 MP stills and full HD videos with the silver Canon PowerShot ELPH 350 HS Digital Camera. This compact point-and-shoot features a High-Sensitivity CMOS sensor and DIGIC 4+ image processor that combine to produce the Canon HS SYSTEM, which helps to improve the low-light shooting capabilities by extending the effective sensitivity levels while also reducing apparent noise for cleaner, clearer imagery. A built-in 12x optical zoom lens provides a 35mm-equivalent focal length range of 25-300mm, covering wide-angle to telephoto perspectives to suit working in a wide variety of shooting scenarios. Intelligent IS image stabilization benefits working in low-light conditions and with longer focal lengths by minimizing the appearance of camera shake based on eight different detected shooting styles. Furthermore, to benefit image-making, a range of shooting modes are also available to add creative expression and ensure true, consistent exposures regardless of the shooting situation.

question

How many pictures can be taken on a fully charged battery?
Asked by: Barbara C.
Hi Barbara, It all depends on the pixels you are using. The higher the pixels the lesser of pictures you will get also depends on the usage of your flash too. I don't count them either, but I do get a lot of pictures with the way my husband has my settings set for. Hope this helps you out.

question

how do you change the size of the pictures in the camera?
Asked by: Anonymous
Page 41 of the camera's instruction manual indicates to chance the number of recording pixels (the image size), you may press the round {Func. Set button in the center of the four-way controller on the back of your camera, then choose L in the menu, then choose the desired option. The box under Guidelines for choosing Recording Pixel Setting Based on Paper Size (for 4:3 Images) on the bottom of the page shows the different image size settings, L (Large), M1 (Medium 1), M2 (Medium 2), and S (Small). It indicates you may not change the image size when shooting in the Hybrid Auto Mode. Page 40 also indicates how to change the image's recorded aspect ratio, from which 16:9 (widescreen), 3:2, 4:3 (default), and 1:1 (Square) are the available options.http://www.filepdf.info/canon/camera/elph-350-hs_ixus-275-hs.pdf

question

HELP...Not Techy!! Thought because this camera didnt come with a Cable that I would just put the Memory Card in the computer to transfer/save pictures....The card is too wide....What now???? Its a Canon Powershot ELPH 350 HS...Thx
Asked by: Rut S.
It has WiFi capability to transfer pictures; however, I use an USB cord that connects between computer and camera. Camera shows as an external storage. Then you can copy or move pictures to a file on your computer. I am not overly tech savvy either.

question

How come there is no waste-basket button on the Canon camera model ELPH 350 HS for erase image?
Asked by: Anonymous
While the ELPH 350 HS does not have a dedicated button for erasing images, deleting images is still relatively simple. When viewing an image you want to erase, you would simply press on the func/set button and then could choose the erase option in the menu (a trashcan icon). The camera would then verify that you wanted to erase the image Erase?, and you would again choose Erase and press the func/set button.

question

If I were to purchase a compatible USB cable, will it charge the camera or do I always have to pull the battery to charge it?
Asked by: Anonymous
It will charge through the USB cable, if your device has the power to support it. It helps to have one of the wall chargers.
