    Bescor PSA124 reviews

PSA-124 12V Power Supply for 4-Pin XLR Equipment is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed I have a JVC Camera and the Anton Bauer battery went bad, so I bought a new one to use with my tandum pack on the back when I have super long important events to film and the camera cannot die. Too bad the battery I bought was a dionic and doesn't work like the old battery I had. So I was in a pinch and needed something so I could just plug the camera in and it wouldn't die. This was the answer and it's served me well so far. I've used it about 3 times with the camera plugged in and no battery and it's been just what I needed. I did think it was a bit expensive, but that's just because I'm cheap and want everything on sale. Better than buying another anton bauer battery

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect replacement Great compact power supply. Replaced my bulky, heavy desktop unit. I use it with the Sony DSR 250 DVCAM Pro videocamera.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight redesign I bought the PSA-124 power supply to replace an older one that quit working after nine years of use with my JVC DV-500 camera. The new one is a streamlined, lighter weight unit and works great.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not great They work as expected, however the cables are even shorter than the original cables, same issues that came with the last ones that all broke on me... the power box weighs down the cable coming out of the xlr. Really pour design, completely overpriced for what it is. Unfortunately I don't think there are any alternatives. I wish I had just invested extra money in to a battery solution.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job! I brought this product to power a JVC GY-DV500 Professional 3-CCD Camcorder in my church, so far it is working very well. The price of this product was a big plus. Time will tell weather or not this was a good investment. At this point it has worked well with no problems.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not work I purchased this as a power supply for my Sony FS7, and the XLR connector did not fit without a lot of force. I exchanged it for the IndiePro option, which works fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job at a good price It's a power supply. It does what is intended by powering a camera. It has the power to do what is needed for a basic setup.
