question

Anyone run these on a battery pack and if so which one?
Asked by: Jason E.
Lights like these do not take a standard battery and need what is called an inverter battery system. Most inverter batteries are for strobes and so most will not work well with them. The battery below is suggested as one that works well with continuous lights.

question

Does it have bowen mount type for light modifiers?
Asked by: Anonymous
It's suppose to but my bowen mounts did not fit it. I didn't return it but I considered it. I wouldn't buy it again.

question

Is there a built-in fan? If so how loud is it? I'm worried our microphone will pick up the noise. Also how bright is this unit from 1M? 3M?
Asked by: NICHOLAS
Yes. Too loud for pics. I bought one and was super happy with it. But the fan was broken, I got it replaced and the new one is way too loud.

question

Does this light have a fan and what is its noise level? Is it usable for video interviews?
Asked by: Jason F.
Yes and yes. Fan is whisper quiet. I was nervous about buying this since there were no reviews. It is really incredible for the money. I had an issue with mine rattling. Probably a loose screw. They immediately sent me a fedex number and are sending a replacement.

question

Is this light flicker-free at 240fps?
Asked by: Tim J.
The manufacture does not list them as being flicker free but my guess is that it will give you some flicker at 240 fps. These are good led lights but they are in the lower bracket as lights go. This light is considered actually brighter and flicker free http://bhpho.to/1Bmangv.

question

Is this a Quartz lighting system ?
Asked by: Anonymous
The LED1000 Light Head would not be a quartz lighting system but rather it uses LED technology.
