question

How to replace the port for the new PRO 8mm fisheye lens? Can I do that myself, or it has to be done at a service center?
Asked by: Xuefeng C.
The lens port on the Olympus PT-EP13 is not designed to be removed. The port is the same style as other Olympus Pen camera housings. This is different than the other Olympus OM-D camera housings. The only lenses that Olympus says this housing will support is the M.Zuiko 9-18mm f/4.0-5.6, 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 I / II / IIR, 12-50mm f/3.5-6.3 EZ, 45mm f/1.8, 60mm f/2.8 Macro, and 75mm f/1.8. But by removing the screws, the included Olympus port could easily be removed. The company AOI does produce ports for this and other Olympus Pen housing. As of May, 2015 no port is available for the Olympus M.ZUIKO Digital ED 8mm f/1.8 Fisheye PRO Lens. AOI does produce both acrylic and glass ports for the Panasonic Lumix G Fisheye 8mm/F3.5 Lens: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=AOI+Pen+8mm&N=0&InitialSearch=yes&sts=ma&Top+Nav-Search=
