  • 1Description

The arctic white Prodigy M Color Chassis with Window from BitFenix enables you to install multiple expansion cards. Prodigy M has a sleek and a compact design and comes with two crafted handles that suspend the chassis body. Suspended with these two FyberFlex Composite handles for shock absorption, the chassis can be easily shifted. The inside offers space for SLI or Crossfire dual graphics technology, and fits up to four 3.5" hard drives or five 2.5" SSDs, and also provides space for slim 9.4" radiators. A magnetic heat shield is also included,if you decide to add hard drives rather than fans. The chassis features BitFenix SofTouch Surface Treatment, a massive CPU cooler cutout, and rolled-edge cable pass-throughs.

Full MATX Compatibility
The chassis features full compatibility with micro-ATX motherboards.
Optimal Flexibility
It can be configured with up to four 3.5" HDDs or five 2.5" SSDs for an optimal storage potential. Adding in a micro ATX motherboard gives you up to four expansion slots, suitable for additional expansion cards, or even SLI and Crossfire dual graphics capability.
Multiple Cooling Options
Prodigy M can be outfitted with up to five fans for maximum cooling. Bolt a thin 9.4" radiator on top, or perhaps a 4.7" radiator on the rear. With the roomy interior of the chassis, you can easily fit in tower CPU coolers of up to 6.3".
FyberFlex Composite Technology
The chassis is made of BitFenix FyberFlex Composite material that is flexible and strong. Fastened on both the top and bottom of the chassis, these handles are a convenient way to carry Prodigy M, while providing added shock absorption during transport.
Easy to Build-In
Prodigy M comes with user-friendly installation features such as a CPU cooler cutout to make swapping coolers quick. You can use the included magnetic heat shield to prevent warm air from re-entering the case. Anti-vibration pads help further reduce errant noise from working hard drives.
Other Features
Coated with SofTouch Surface Treatment, Prodigy M's FyberFlex handles are soft and smooth to the touch. The chassis has a coated interior, a brushed aluminum BitFenix logo, and rolled-edge cable pass-throughs.

    BitFenix BFC-PRM-300-WWWKW-RP reviews

Prodigy M Color Chassis with Window (Arctic White) is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect for mATX build Perfect size for my mATX build. With graphics card, 4 SSD drives there is plenty of space left for airflow after all the cables have been installed and organized a little bit.  I like the look of this case, but dont care much for the window (I could not find the version w/o window). The handles (top and bottom) are a bit wobbly as other wrote, but the case is wide enough to have a stable footing. The side interface (buttons/USB ports) are even better than on the front for my setup under the desk.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice quality - Tricky Build! Really Nice bright red color, the plastic and metal components all match beautifully.Once built the case is VERY quiet. I actually have created a FANLESS build, the 2 brushless 120 MM fans included seemed of nice quality, with 9 vanes and a shape to minimize noise. TRICKY TO BUILD! #1 if you mount 2 3.5 Hdds on the floor of the unit, you have to take of the bottom (legs) piece to access the screw mounting holes. MAKE SURE TO INSTALL THESE FIRST and their cabling or you will be out of luck after you put the motherboard in. #2 also, if you are using a 2 slot GPU or particularly if you are using BOTH PCI slots on your board, OR if you are using the 8x or what would ordinarily be the lower PCI-E slot you will not be able to fit an Optical Drive in the 5.25 bay1 #3 make certain to have SATA power and sata cables long enough to accommodate the (2) 2.5 bays on the inside (left) side panel the one with the buttons. included cables are plenty long for the USB3, Power and reset, lights and audio, but sata must be quite long to wrap around to the bay and also facilitate opening the case when needed. #4 pci card bracket dies NOT allow for screws, if you have a HEAVY GPU, or not even, the sliding bracket meant to hold the pci cards in place does not hold very strong and i had to remove the piece and run small bolts through the holes in order to hold the PCI cards in place at a right angle, otherwise, they want to tilt. the holes for the PCI cards are not threaded for screws. the removable PCI slot covers fit quite nicely over the hole created where the original PCI bracket was mounted. #5 there is an additional mounting bracket that will hold 3 ssd's or 2 3.5 sized drives, using this bracket will almost entirely block the view of your internal components. If you want to be able to SEE all of your cool components like in the picture above, you will have to lose the idea of mounting more than 3 or 4 drives inside this thing. Without the side bracket that covers up your internals, you can put (2) 3.5's and (2) 2.5s - note again the 5.25 bay will likely be taken up by your GPUs. NOTE ALSO if you have a very large CPU COOLER this may also prevent you from using the side bracket for additional drives beyond the 4 i've listed Overall though there are a number of very nice touches, a magnetic bottom plate which covers the holes in the floor is included, a usb 3.0 to 2.0 adapter is included, and a number of HDD isoloting grommets are included to minimize noise, the top mesh grill is also easily opened open with a latch, VERY HANDY for connecting the Pin headers on my Motherboard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect! I decided to buy this case because my old case was too big and clunky for the parts i had in it. Currently using this Prodigy case and can happily say that it fits my parts without a problem. I have a i5 4670k, GTX 970 G1,8GB RAM, 630 Watt PSU, 230mm bottom fan, 2 120mm up top, 140mm on the back. Everything is great!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Case. I did a lot of research before buying this case. - I wanted something darn small, but could still fit a micro atx motherboard with room for a big GPU. This one fit the bill. - I wanted to make sure it could fit a h100 2x120mm radiator (can, in top or bottom). Can be configured in a pull which might be best for graphics card clearance, or can be configured in push/pull if the pull fans are mounted on the exterior of the case, meaning the dust screen would have to go. - In order to qualify for my needs, this case also had to provide room for a 120mm radiator which would be another proprietary closed loop liquid cooling solution for a graphics card. Similar to the other rad, this one could be in pull mode, or push pull if the pull fan is mounted on the exterior of the case (note that metal or plastic grills for your external fans would probably be needed if you need to cool your pc to the max like that). Not only did it have this functionality, but you can also install a 2x120, 120, 200, or 230mm fan on the bottom without sacrificing the large protrusion from the side, where the 120mm GPU radiator will be located in my case (no pun intended). The side panel IO works fine, but being on the side is a bit of a drag. Not a lot of room for neat cable management, and if you have too many cables in the little area you have to stuff extra cable in, it makes it hard to close the case, so you have to mash the side panel IO headers against the cables youre trying to keep out of sight. Even more of a challenge when youve got SSDs mounted on that side panel too, but its all still possible. The handles are made of a cheaper feeling plastic than I was expecting. I thought they'd be pretty darn flexible, but these feel like they could snap given a fair amount of tinsel strength. I like the upside down mobo mount. Large GPU and large PS may have clearance issues. I knew what I was buying, and for $85, it was the best price on this case in this universe.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from BitFenix BFC-PRM-300-KKXSK-RP midnight black-non widow ed. 1-Nov-2018 The BitFenix BFC-PRM-300-KKXSK-RP midnight black model has a solid side panel (no window). All of their models are listed at: While this is a very nice full featured case, the space is cramped and cable management is problematic. Our GigaByte micro-atx, AMD Ryzen-7200x build has no heat issues (with Wraith Prism LED Cooler) and is functioning well. Good case but a lot of effort for a clean build! Best Tony
