Helping to provide a stronger and more secure interface between the lens and camera body, this TOUGH E-Mount LT Lens Mount from Fotodiox is a replacement mount for Sony E-mount camera bodies. On select E-mount and NEX camera bodies, the original mount was a two-piece design that incorporated both plastic and metal; this mount was sometimes prone to wiggling or potential light leaks when heavier lenses were attached. This all-brass mount is designed to replace this design and afford greater stability, security, and eliminate light leaks.

Camera Compatibility
Compatible with all Sony E-mount cameras, however is recommended for the:
Alpha a7, a7R, a3000, a5000, a6000, a3500, a5100, NEX-3, NEX-5, NEX-C3, NEX-5N, NEX-7, NEX-F3, NEX-5R, NEX-6, NEX-3N, and NEX-5T cameras.

The Sony a7S, later a7-series cameras, and many of the pro E-mount video cameras already have an all metal mount and do not benefit from this modification.

I bought two of these, one for my A7 and one for the A6000. The screws securing the old mount are quite tight. If you want a neat job, be sure to get a JST (Not Phillips) screwdriver which fits them exactly. The label is worn off of mine, but you can get a set at Harbor Freight for a few dollars which includes the correct one All of my lenses now mount tightly. I feel a lot more comfortable with the long ones being secure. Well worth the cost.

Easily one of the best accessories for Sony Cameras with the original two piece E-Mount, on my a7R it completely removed all wobble with my mitakon 50 0.95 and honestly makes the camera feel way less cheap and flimsy. The lens now clicks into place firmly and tightly. My lens still focusses to infinity. I have not tested the contacts with autofocus lenses but i assume they would work as well as before. I highly recommend the Tough E-Mount.

I bought one a7 used and had some play in the mount and decided to buy this to replace the mount. �Ordered a two pack of Hozen JIS 00 screwdrivers from Amazon after reading about difficulties others had had with standard Philips. �The two OO Japanese Industrial Standard drivers arrived and I tested to see how difficult removing the screws might be. �Didn't have any problem, so magnetized the tip of one of the screwdrivers (the magnets in MagMod gear worked for this) and watched a YouTube video of the replacement steps. �The only remotely fussy part was removing the plastic ring under the aluminum ring. �Unlike others, I had no difficulty with the lens release pin, and the new lens mount fitted in nicely. �It worked very well with my lenses and with a M-42 to NEX adapter, but not with a Kiwi Nikon to NEX adaptor which still works with a different a7 and with my a6000, neither of which have loose lens mounts. �The camera I put this on had been bought used, and I have some suspicions that trying to see if a lens deflects will cause the original lens mount to have problems it wouldn't have otherwise, but this will work for the lenses that have developed looser mounts.

The Tough E-Mount Lt was easy to fit and looks great. It is extremely rigid as compared to the original plastic/aluminium mount and seats directly onto the magnesium chassis. Lenses fit snugly with no play at all.

There appears to be some tolerance issues with the e-mount. The small hole that is supposed to go though the release pin is too small, which causes the release pin not to work. I wish it worked. It is a much needed product!

Much more durable than the Sony mount

This is easy to install, fits very well and feels MUCH more sturdy than the half plastic Sony mount. Beware if you use lenses that have a hard infinity stop! I found that on my old legacy lenses that have a hard infinity stop they wont quite focus to infinity. It seems like this mount is a fraction thicker than the stock Sony mount. This is not a problem if you have newer lenses that can focus past infinity but if you use any lenses with a hard infinity stop you will most likely loose infinity focus. I would give five stars if it did not have that problem.

The FotodioX Touch lens mount certainly improve lens stability on the A6000.  This is very noticeable on the longer lens.  It was easy to fit.

Wanna replace my original mount for a7riii, since there are a very little gap after a fall. How to replace it?

The A7Riii mount has 6 screws, this adapter only has 4 screws for the Mark II variants and older Sony Mirrorless Cameras. So while it might work, I can't guarantee it'll be more secure than the original due to the two unused screws.

Is this compatible with A7RIV and 200-600 and will it "lock" into place with the lens "lock-pin"? The hole on my mount has elongated over time and is "sloppy".

You cannot replace the Canon lens mount. What you can do though is buy an adapter if you have Sony lenses you would like to use on your Canon camera.

If I install this Tough E-mount to my Sony a7 mk1 camera, will I have troubles using my Sigma 150-600mm Contemporay lens with the Sigma MC11 adapter?

You won't have troubles. This mount is the same size as the original just stronger metal, so it should work fine with the MC11.
