Featuring a white color module, Vaddio's RoboSHOT 30 QMini System is a professional quality PTZ camera with fine detail and exceptional color reproduction packaged with a Quick-Connect USB Mini control unit. It's suitable for medium to large sized rooms, houses of worship, large auditorium A/V systems, large distance learning classrooms, live event theatres, and large lecture theatres with lecture capture. The key features of the camera are Tri-Synchronous Motion, Range-Set for setting optical limits, and the combination of an advanced image sensor, lens, and ISP (image signal processor).
Pairing the camera with the Quick-Connect USB Mini control unit uses the Vaddio EZCamera Cat-5 Cable System to transport HSDS (differential video), power and control to and from the camera over standard Cat-5 cabling up to 100' with virtually no loss in video quality or latency. The USB Mini provides 720p30 video over USB using UVC (Universal Video Class) drivers so you can connect the device to your computer with confidence that it will work.
The Tri-Synchronous Motion algorithm in the RoboSHOT cameras is capable of moving all three (pan, tilt and zoom) axes simultaneously. The algorithm calculates the position and velocity of the smooth, direct-drive motor movements between the presets so pan, tilt and zoom arrive at the preset subject simultaneously.
The camera incorporates an Exmor; 1/2.8", 2.34 Megapixel, Full HD (1080p/60) highspeed, low noise CMOS image sensor combined with a new ISP, produces vivid, realistic and accurate color with extremely fast, razor sharp automatic focus and auto iris.
The RoboSHOT cameras use a single control arm for pan and tilt movements. Both ends of the cast control arm are anchored with silent and smooth BLDC (brushless DC) direct drive motors. These motors provide ultra-accurate and fast camera positioning and are capable of the slowest of crawls, which are suitable for on-air use.
IR sensors are built into the front of the RoboSHOT to receive IR signals from the IR Remote Commander supplied with the camera. The IR sensors sit behind the Makrolon IR Window on the front of the base.
Ethernet port and a built-in web server, which allows the user to control the camera functions on an internal web page with a browser from anywhere in the world, or in the same room, over your IP network. Telnet, IR Remote and RS-232 control for the camera are available to satisfy almost any system control requirements.
Quick Connect USB Mini
The USB Mini interface has two modes: Video Streaming Mode and Web Control Mode. While using the Web Control Mode, the video image is not available for preview. For this reason, the IR Remote Commander may be the best way to control the camera in real-time. If camera control via web browser is desired, use the web server inside the RoboSHOT camera. The camera is capable of concurrent video and control in real-time.
The USB Mini will automatically show up as a native USB 2.0 device on the connected computer. If not prompted to allow the device as your primary UVC video source, it may be required to configure it as such in the operating system of the streaming/capture computer.
Serial RS-232 output on RJ-45 connects via Cat-5 to the camera's RS-232 input on the camera. Control signals from the embedded webserver are sent via RS-232 to the camera over this control port.
EZ POWER VIDEO: Simultaneously sends power to the camera to and returns HSDS (differential) video from the camera to generate USB 2.0 (UVC) video for the connected PC.
The mounting flange provides for surface mounting the USB Mini (under table or in cable tray) and easy access to the USB connection for laptop or computer.
