The 8320.LSE Surround SAM Kit from Genelec includes five 8320A monitors, one 7350A subwoofer, and GLM 2.0 user kit with the 9310AM volume control. The 8320A Bi-Amplified Smart Active Monitor is a two-way monitor designed for professional applications. It features built-in Smart Active Monitor (SAM) digital signal processing (DSP), with the Genelec Loudspeaker Manager (GLM) software designed to provide accuracy and ease of use in difficult acoustic environments. The high performance drivers are directly connected to dedicated Class D power amplifiers. System protection is implemented as a part of the SAM signal processing. The MDE (Minimum Diffraction Enclosure) enclosure is made of die-cast aluminum and shaped to reduce edge diffraction, and is combined with the Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW).

The 7350A Smart Active Monitoring Subwoofer features an 8" low frequency driver housed in a Laminar Spiral Enclosure (LSE) bass reflex cabinet. The integrated Class D power amplifier outputs 150 W with very low THD and IM distortion. Driver overload, amplifier thermal overload, and driver short circuit protections are included in the amplifier electronics. The 7350A is designed to complement the 8320A and 8330A SAM monitors using the Genelec Loudspeaker Manager (GLM 2.0) control software, with a measurement microphone and network adapter unit. Genelec AutoCal software allows to automatically align every monitor/subwoofer for level, timing, crossover phase and equalization of room response anomalies. The 7350A is ideal for music studios, post-production houses, digital edit suites, radio, TV and outside broadcasting. The subwoofer is supplied with a mains cable and a GLM network cable with RJ45 connectors.

The version 2.0 GLM Loudspeaker Manager Software is an intuitive monitor control networking system that manages connectivity to up to 30 units of 8300 Series monitors and 7300 Series subwoofers on the network . The GLM 2.0 software features adjustment of levels, distance delays and flexible room response compensation equalization with the AutoCal automated calibration system. All parameters and settings are stored in system setup files or saved in each individual monitor or subwoofer if the GLM network needs to be disconnected. GLM AutoCal provides an integrated process for complete automated measurement, analysis, and adjustment of every monitor on the GLM control network.

The 9310AM Volume Control is a heavy-duty rotary pot which connects to the GLM V2.0 interface. It controls the GLM Loudspeaker Manager's software volume fader within the system, bypassing the need for a separate monitor controller when sending digital (AES/EBU) signal to the Genelec SAM monitors.

The 7350A combines the Laminar Spiral Enclosure (LSE) technology with AutoCal and GLM control network technologies. Genelec's AutoCal allows the unit to automatically align multiple subwoofers for level, timing, crossover phase, and equalization of room response anomalies. Providing extended low-frequency performance, accurate tonal characteristics, and high dynamic capabilities, the 7350A supports a distributed bass management architecture.

    This subwoofer offers 5.1 channel analog XLR inputs and outputs together with stereo AES/EBU XLR inputs and outputs without the need for additional external AD converters. The 150W Class-D amplifier unit is integrated into the enclosure and contains DSP crossover filters, driver overload and protection circuitry. The Genelec 7350A is the low-frequency monitoring tool for music studios, mobile vans, digital workstations, radio and TV broadcasting, providing remarkable sound clarity, definition, and neutrality.

    The GLM 2.0 User Kit from Genelec is an accessories kit designed for Genelec's GLM 2.0 networking system. It includes a GLM network adapter, a microphone with a holder, a USB cable, and a GLM network cable.

    The GLM 2.0 Loudspeaker Manager Software is available for download with the purchase of a GLM 2.0 User Kit. GLM 2.0 is a monitor control networking system that manages connectivity with up to 30 SAM studio monitors and subwoofers. The GLM software is compatible with Windows and Mac and features level adjustment, distance delays, and flexible room response compensation equalization with the AutoCal automated calibration system. All parameters and settings are stored in system setup files or saved in each individual monitor or subwoofer if the GLM network needs to be disconnected.
