question
Specifically, will it work with B+W's 49mm slim (MC) UVA Haze No. 010 (2C) BWUVMCS49 (manufacturer number 66-026919)?Thanks again.
No, that will not work. That filter does not have any front threads for the hood to screw in to.

You state that this lens hood "is designed for . . . lenses with angles of view up to 70° wide (approx. 28mm in 35mm format)."
I suppose that "wide" might indicate a horizontal angle of view of 70° (roughly that of a 26mm lens in "35mm format") or that the diagonal angle of view is about 70° (so about a 31mm lens). Could you please clarify? Thanks.
The manufacturer does not specify if the angle of view is horizontal or diagonal. As it is not dedicated to any specific lens, the angle of view is approximate. While I would guess it would be measured diagonally, it should be compatible for wide angle lenses between the 26mm to 31mm focal length range. In any case, you may purchase the item and test it on your own lens for compatibility, and if you are not happy with its performance, you may return the item for an exchange or refund within 30 days of the original purchase date.

You can use this hood with that lens and a filter without issue.

Would this work on a Leica Q2?
Would this work on a Leica Q2?
Should be fine for most uses. It's certainly an excellent hood.

question
Will this hood block the optical viewfinder on my Fuji X100f (I have a 49mm adapter and B&W filter on added on to the lens)?
You will be able to partially see the hood within the viewfinder.

question
Is it possible to attach a front lens cap with this hood installed?
Yes you can. I used a Mamiya 67mm front cap at first but found it fell off too easily. I switched to a Nikon 67mm front cap and it holds on very well. Make sure its Nikon and not a cheap cap or you will be replacing it often!

question
Can you attach a 49mm lens hood to this hood?
I'm guessing this is a typo and you want to attach a 49mm filter. You want to attach the filter to the lens and then the hood to the filter.
