The Fiilex V70 LED Color Viewing Lamp is a dense matrix LED lamp with a flexible gooseneck for easy positioning. With a small size and base it is ideal for setting up on a tabletop or desk and can be used for a wide variety of applications, include photography, video blogging, styling, or design work.

Major features of the V70 are the touch-controlled color temperature and intensity settings. There are four different color settings, 3000K for tungsten-balanced light, 4000K for a middle warm light, D50 5000K and D65 6500K for daylight-balanced light. Each of these will help you achieve the look you need for your tasks. Also, there is continuous dimming from 100-25%.

The V70 is excellent for color correct lighting due to its high CRI of >90, meaning colors will look natural and bright. Additionally, the lamp uses passive cooling technology to keep from overheating and has a long 50,000 hour lifespan. There is even an dome diffuser for achieving a soft lighting effect when necessary.

V70 LED Color Viewing Lamp is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Expensive, but unique . . . This desk lamp is admittedly expensive - but it is unique in what it does, and it is beautifully crafted. The ability to see prints under four different color temperatures is very useful and instructive. The ability to dim the lamp assists in dialing in a good screen to print match vis the target luminance value of one's monitor profile. Very nice. Light spread coverage is good for up to about 13x19 prints, but no more. Well worth the expense for what it has brought to my digital darkroom. Makes a nice little desk lamp too! :-)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from V70 LED Excellent Upgrade from Daylight Balance Halogen Replaced my 8-year old Solux Halogen Task lamp with the V70 LED Fiilex. Great light quality, easy to control temperature and intensity. Beautiful design and stable. Comes with a nice magnetically attached dome diffuser. The diffuser is best used for overhead use or in separate viewing area. If lamp is at eye level in your work area, you will want to use without the diffuser. I use this lamp near my color-balanced monitor for both task lighting and viewing prints. Easy to adjust to 3,000K, 4,000K, 5,000K or 6,500K.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful even light for color critical work During printer calibration I wondered why my print doesn't look like what I see on my (calibrated) monitor. One of the issues -- as the knowledgeable sales person pointed out -- is that a monitor is bright but that the light under which I looked at the print is usually not bright or accurate. Not only does this well-build light help me (and my customers) view the print as it should be viewed, this is also a great light for photographing small electronic projects with the included diffuser. The touch-sensitive switches for brightness and color temperature are well designed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic Color Grading Lamp This lamp is brilliant for color grading. It has four different color temperatures it can produce and everything is done by a simple touch interface. Gorgeous design as well. The only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is the cost. It's a bit pricey. Otherwise it's great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value print viewing light w/ 4 color temp settings I am using this to view prints under controlled color lighting. It seems to work fine. The measurements I took using my x-Rite i12 Pro show that it is very close to 3000, 4000, 5000, and 6000K (but not 6500K). The dimming function works, but it is not very controllable as you might expect from reading the manufacturer specs. This light meets my needs, and I am happy with the good quality of build. If the LED lasts half of the 50,000 hour rating, then it is a home run.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good professional lamps I've had multiple LED desk lamps illuminating my workstation and large format printer cutting table for several years. It was okay until the one I always leave on burned out. I decided to upgrade and bought two of the V70 lamps. I like them so much I plan to purchase a couple more. Bright enough for easy color viewing of large prints and adjustable color temperature is nice to simulate color conditions. Nice size, not too small to light a broad area. I will still use my Graphic Light for judging and comparison, but as I get used to the accuracy of these little lights I'm sure I will rely on them more. I don't use the diffuser when pointed down but I think I will when I get my next 2 lamps that will illuminate the walls around my workstation. Happy with the purchase so far. The old LED lamps are relegated to the accounting desk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Color matching cabinet alternative I am in charge of matching cabinetry color sample blocks. We did not want to splurge on a full "color matching cabinet" - (that lightbox that you see at fashion companies). This was the only alternative that included the D6500 bulb - the standard bulb for color matching. This item is expensive - but less expensive than any other set up including a D6500 bulb (that I was personally able to find). Very well made item, diffuser is my favorite feature.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK within limits It's certainly a useful variable light source, and I'll keep it; but I'm disappointed by its limited height and the lack of compensating flexibility in its gooseneck. It can evenly illuminate only rather small prints (or limited areas of larger ones). It seems ideal for letter-size, OK for 11x17, and problematic for larger sizes.
