Designed specifically to integrate into your FS7 camera, the Tilta V-Mount Battery Plate for Sony FS7 provides you a way to power your camera and on-board accessories from a single V-mount battery. The battery plate solidly attaches to your FS7 allowing you to mount optional large capacity V-mount batteries on the back of the camera without significantly altering the balance. Built-in power ports support P-Tap as well as common DC voltage outputs.

Using this battery plate with optional V-mount batteries allows you to power on-board accessories using only one battery, instead of using many smaller DV style batteries to power the camera and additional accessories. This single battery powering solution preserves the handheld capabilities of your camera, as opposed to the effect of weight and balance shifts caused by multiple batteries when you operate your camera with accessories. The plate passes through your batteries power through the D-Tap, and provides separate regulated 8 VDC and two 12 VDC outputs. Four cables are included, so you can connect a device to each power output.

Provides secure battery attachment for optional V-mount batteries without significantly altering the camera's footprint.
Integrated on / off switch allows you to power down to conserve battery without removing the battery.
Battery plate provides pass through battery power to a D-Tap output, regulated 8 VDC, and two 12 VDC power outputs for powering an optional camera and accessories.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reaaky cool for a great price I just wanted to be able to power my FS7 with V mount batteries without needing the big fat and expensive docking options so I went for this Tilta Plate. To be honest, I was afraid that it would feel plastic and fragile but it's actually quite robust and fits perfectly the FS7. Once it's on, it looks quite fine and holds the pressure of fast run and gun shootings. Just so you know, if ever you wondered, it's powered with a cable going from the DTAP plug to the DC in on the camera, so I guess that's a good thing to know.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for price, but wish it powered FS7 via DC, not D-tap This is a very low cost alternative to XDCA if you usually just need a V-mount power solution and don't want to spend money for TC/RAW that you'll only need a couple times a year.Fits well. Seems well made. More solid and rugged than Switronix products, which is why I went for the Tilta.But... I wasn't clear from the product description that it powers the FS7 via D-tap. The only D-tap output on the FS-T01. Leaving no D-tap outputs for anything else. (SmallHD DP7 monitor for example, which has Hirose pwr input)With the DC outputs on the FS-T01, why can't it power the FS7 that way, since the camera power input is DC? I just don't understand... there must be a reason... ?Still giving this 4 stars, because really for $$I shouldn't expect perfection, and for most people it'll be fine. I would happily pay another couple hundred bucks for a Hirose output.Would have bought the Switronix plate / Jet Pack instead, except for hearing stories of it crapping out often.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Most expensive piece of equipment I have bought I mistakenly plugged my Canon 5D mark iii into the 14v plug and fried my camera in seconds. The mistake was mine but wish It had been more goof proof. I'm probably the only goober that has ever done this. My advice: be very careful because it is possible to put too much voltage to your delicate electronics if you are not paying attention. This will cost me a ton to repair--might be buying a mark iv sooner than I planned.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The design is slightly off on this unit. They make it difficult to plug in the AC plug into the camera. Also I need to take the unit off the camera to switch out a safety battery for the actual camera. I should have waited for the Cam V . It goes right on the back rails... It was back ordered and I got impatient
