question

I have a Sony a6300 and need to trigger two Alien Bees B800 strobes. Will this adapter allow me to do this?
Asked by: James J.
It will help you trigger the Alien Bees, you would then need the PC cord that will connect from the Shoe Adapter to the sync input of the strobes which will take a 3.5mm (1/8 ) connection.

question

want to use a minolta 5400hs and /or a 5600hs flash on my sony a7 and sony a6000. will this adapter work (Vello HSA-CSMSA Multi-Interface)?
Asked by: Frank M.
I used this Vello adapter on my a77 mark 2 and it has some advantages over the Sony adapter. It is easier to tighten and has a tighter grip on the hot shoe and the flash shoe feels firmer on my Metz and Sony flash. My Sony adapter has has loosened at a family memorial service and a dance awards competition. The Vello is larger, and a firmer design. It also has a sych cord socket. I am sure it will fit your a7

question

would this work with the a7 cameras using yongnuo wireless triggers? i have the yn603 transmitter to yn-560III flashes and trying to make these work with my sony cameras instead of getting a whole new flash system
Asked by: austin p.
The Vello HSA-CSMSA adapter will let you use older Sony and Minolta flashes, with the original proprietary Sony mount, on your a7 series camera. I think you should be able to connect your Yongnuo transmitter directly to the a7 series hotshoe, which is the new Sony multi-interface shoe. I have another brand of inexpensive manual trigger that works when attached directly to the hot shoe on my a7rii.

question

HelloCan we use this adater with sony a6000 and metz BL 400 studio flash.Thank you
Asked by: Zamri
You can, as long as the flash does not exceed the trigger voltage rating of the a6000, which I believe is 6volts.

question

Will it work with my sony a99ii and my HVL - F43AM flash??
Asked by: Lucía
I bought the HSA CSMSA adapter for my Sony RX10 IIb and it works perfectly with external flash units. I also bought the 6' coiled cord to use with my Sony HVL F43 and that also works perfectly for off-camera flash.
