Nikon S7000 Overview

The COOLPIX S7000 Digital Camera from Nikon features a 16MP 1/2.3" CMOS image sensor to capture high-resolution imagery and full HD 1080p video at 30 fps. It has a 20x optical zoom lens with a 35mm equivalent focal range of 25-500mm. For even further zooming, a 40x Dynamic Fine Zoom feature effectively doubles your reach. Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity pair with Nikon snapbridge, allowing you to easily send images from the S7000 to your compatible smart device, and from there share on your favorite social media sites.

16MP Image Sensor
The 16MP 1/2.3" CMOS sensor provides quality imagery and low-noise stills and videos up to ISO 6400.
20x Zoom NIKKOR ED Lens
The S7000 has a 20x optical zoom NIKKOR ED VR zoom lens with a focal length range of 4.5-135mm, giving a 35mm equivalent of 25-500mm, which covers wide-angle to telephoto shots with a maximum aperture range of f/3.4-6.5. It features ED lens elements for improving sharpness, color, and image quality, as well as Vibration Reduction to reduce the appearance of camera shake. An electronically controlled ND filter provides additional control.
3" LCD Screen
The S7000's 3" 460k-dot TFT-LCD monitor has an anti-reflective coating, 5-level brightness adjustment, and features approximately 98% horizontal and 98% vertical coverage in shooting mode, and 100% coverage in playback mode.
Target Finding AF
With the COOLPIX S7000, Target Finding AF instantly and accurately determines your intended subject and focuses on it, not on just whatever is closest to the camera. Catch the shot you want on the first try. No more out of focus shots or the frustration of trying to get the camera to focus on the right thing.
Full HD 1080i60 Video
4-axis Hybrid Vibration Reduction helps you shoot stable, smooth videos without a tripod, and a built-in microphone captures stereo sound. You can also apply creative effects, combine short video clips into a 30-second montage, and create time-lapse movies right in the camera.
18 Scene Modes
With 18 Scene Modes, including Beach, Snow, Night Portrait, Sunset and more, it's easy to match the moment to a Scene Mode. You can even get creative and use Scene Modes to alter ordinary shots. Or, select Scene Auto Selector and let the camera choose the best mode for your situation.
Wi-Fi and NFC with snapbridge
Nikon snapbridge describes the experience of quickly and easily sending photos wirelessly from your Wi-Fi & NFC enabled COOLPIX S7000 to a compatible smartphone or tablet. Share your great photos on the go, even in remote locations, or use a smartphone or tablet to control your camera.

question

whats the largest memory card the camera will accept?
Asked by: Peter C.
I don't know the largest but I have used 16 GB Sandisk Ultra-PLUS @ 16M 4608x3456 (about 2000 photos) in my Cool Pix for years. Nothing more, so I don't know its limits. I travel extensively and have had about four of these cameras over the past 7 or 8 years. Love 'em.

question

.How do I turn off flash....?.yes it is a question
Asked by: Anonymous
Turn the camera on as if to take a picture. On the circular button just above the OK there is a lightning symbol. Press the lightning symbol to scroll through the flash modes. When you get to the flash off mode, hit the OK button. That will turn off the flash.
