    MEE audio EP-M6PRO-CL-MEE reviews

    M6 PRO Universal-Fit Noise-Isolating Musician's In-Ear Monitors with Detachable Cables is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 31.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product, price and service Use these for on-stage wireless monitor in a Sennheiser EW 300. For the price compared to the comparable Shure product it's a very good fit, frequency response and construction. Only used it for one gig and they were comfortable all night, but so far can't comment on durability. Looked elsewhere but I can say without hesitation, ordering over the phone with B&H, which I usually don't do, the salesperson was courteous, personable and very helpful. Other sites were out of stock so how do you find out if you need something quickly? CALL B&H! They can let you know up front whether something is in stock or not.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good sound isolation at a very good price. My motivation to buy these ear monitors was to get better noise isolation on airplanes. I had just taken a flight to NYC and my apple ear buds were useless as far as isolation went. I do have Bose Quiet Comfort but they are too large and cumbersome for traveling. I bought these after reading reviews on B&H site. I was reluctant because the price seemed so low. I was not disappointed. I have to comment on the packaging. When unpacking the contents the actual earphones do not come out. They are hidden in a dark rubber panel and I think that some people could easily throw them out with the box. There is some assembly and it is important to read the instructions. Putting them together is easy once you read over the instructions. The monitors come with multiple sets of silicone plugs and a set of memory foam plugs that attach onto the electronic ear phones. Again, read the instructions. It is a trial and error with each set to discern the level of isolation and good bass response. On my return flight the units worked very well to isolate the engine sounds. It is not as quiet is noise canceling sets but I found them very good. The audio response was fine for me. I am older and have lost some hearing in the upper Hz so I don't expect to hear 20,000 Hz. The sound was well balanced. I used the conventional cable though the kit also contains a cable with volume controls and directional controls. These ear phones do not go directly into your ears as ear buds would. One has to adapt the memory wire over the top of each ear, contouring for the best fit. Once adjusted they are quite comfortable. They are an excellent value for the money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Probably great These appear to be very good quality, and the brief time I tried them proved really excellent sound. I love the fact that it comes with 2 cords, and the connection between the detachable cord and the ear buds felt very solid. The reason I packed them up within 20 minutes to return them, was I just couldn't get a comfortable fit. I have regular average ears, most buds fit just fine. But these have a larger plastic piece behind the ear buds that just caused the ear buds not to stay in my ears, and they would start to shimmy out within 20 seconds of putting them in. Was really disappointed, because the sound seemed really good, better than my Beats believe it or not. Shame had to return.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprisingly good quality at a great price! These are great in-ear monitors and a great bargain for the price. I'm used to using a pair of $200 Shure in-ears and I think the M6 sound better and costs a 1/4 of the price. These have better low end and a smoother mid-high than the Shure making for a much more pleasing listening experience. I was able to get a great seal with the Comply foam sleeves that come with these. That makes for pretty good isolation from other sounds around me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Quality for sub-$$ So these were better than I expected. They sound great! I've used Shure SE215's and they sound pretty similar, but the M6 is cheaper. I'm not sure how much it will hold up over time, but they seem pretty sturdy. Nothing feels flimsy at all! It has a nice soft case with a phone cable and a regular cable as well as some ear pieces to fit the size of your ear. It also gives you a 1/4 jack adapter. This really is a great product. I would recommend it for someone who maybe runs and wants earphones BEHIND them. Mainly, though, this is for musicians who play gigs every now and again. If playing music is your 9-5 job, then maybe get something else. These are a bass heavy and may not replicate sounds entirely even. But at this price point, I'm not sure you can beat the sound quality. I'd buy this again in a heartbeat if something goes wrong with this pair.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good, But could be better. Low End is awesome, Highs are great, Mids are way to much around 1K and 5K range. Have played several different songs and music types through these and I have to say they are a great starter pair of in ears for anyone who is looking to get started whether it be a beginner or a youth musician who just can't afford a pair of high quality audiophile in ears that are going for upwards of $$+.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far so good! I got this item because of its price point - more affordable than others and marketed specifically for use as a musician's IEM. I'm a bass player, and so decent bass response is a must. So far I'm very happy with the purchase. Case is handy, variety of tips is good. I will say as a musician, you're going to want to have the benefit of a personal mix for different inputs and channels. And that also means needing a personal receiver pack. This item is purely the monitors, not the receiver. Anyway, I am happy with the purchase, and after some bad experiences with availability thru other shops, was ecstatic to find this item availability immediately and expedited shipping. Got it in less than 2 days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rock on! So far, after a few weeks of use, I can say I really like these buds. Sound is fantastic, not a bass heavy sound, but a nice full range sound that is crystal clear. The over ear wires were something to get used to, but once you figure out the comfortable way to do so for your ears, this is money well spent! And with replaceable wires this is a win-win for me as I use them at the gym as well, so no more replacing other brands if all goes well! Get them, for the price you can't beat it!
