    Crucial CT102464BF186D reviews

8GB DDR3 1866 MHz SODIMM Memory Module is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 109.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Memory Was skeptical as have gotten memory up grades in past from another 3rd party vender but thought that with the B&H reputation, what could go wrong? Turns out I was right as this memory seems to be working flawlessly. The installation was extremely easily in the 27 iMac (late 2015). I did check out a You Tube on it which is advised, though truly a VERY simple operation. The price was very competitive (actually less) with my former vender. Also using live chat the B&H sales rep. verified I was purchasing the correct modules. Again, the B&H experience can't be beat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lenovo Z585 Memory Update 8GB 204-pin SODIMM DDR3 PC3-14900 Crucial memory finder said both the PC3-12800 and PC3-14900 2x8GB kits were compatible with the Lenovo Z585. I spend a little more money and bought the PC3-14900 hoping it would increase memory speed over the PC3-12800. It didn't. I used both CPU-Z and AMD Overdrive and under load the memory frequency was the same with the old DDR3-1600 and with the DDR3-1866. So a slight waste of money. However, its very stable and installed without any problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Speed and Agility I like to keep my systems, particularly my laptops maxed out with the fastest memory the system can take - as soon as the price point is reasonable. This is the most economical way to have performance and keep a system useful for the longest time. And it is so often ignored. I have purchased Crucial memory exclusively for a very long time, having given up on various other brands. Reliablity is important to me and I am willing to pay for that.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Crashed my laptop and corrupted boot up I never expected to have memory lock up the computer, then I had force power off / reboot. After that the boot partition not readable. I had to remove the new memory, and replace original. After that I basially had to rebuild the laptop OS. I lost all the files and installed programs. Understand from manufacture how to upgrade the BIOS / boot EFI programs. Sent back memory, at my cosp of postage

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product from an Excellent Retailer Purchased a late 2015 27 iMac from the same vendor. 8 GB default RAM is not sufficient for viewing or working with HD videos. Installed the purchased memory in 5 minutes. Now have a total of 24 GB of RAM. Video viewing is much better now. Toyed with the idea of installing 32 GB of RAM but read from the Apple support community that having non-Apple RAM at capacity is sometimes problematic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rockin' RAM! This installation took my inexplicably under-powered laptop from 6 gigs to 16. Hard to believe a machine with 6 gigs RAM could be so slow and unresponsive, but it was. Of course a 5400 RPM HDD doesn't help, and the processor is sub-par, but with 2 Crucial 8 gig RAM strips, the machine is noticeably more nimble. I highly recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Trust Well Placed Trust was well placed with this product. Not only is it faster than most others of the same quantity, it's much more consistent. Improved my system's performance by almost 80%, going from 8GB to 16GB. It was very economic, not expensive in the least, and when it arrived the package was sealed well to ensure there were no defects.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Performance at an unbelievable cost! I upgraded from 6GB of Ram to 16GB. The install was smooth and effortless, and my computer is no longer hungry for memory. Im a network engineer, as well as a hardcore gamer, and this new Ram kit handles everything I throw at it, from multiple monitors to intensive applications/programs. I just wish the old pc could handle more!
