The Flute 2 from the Vienna Symphonic Library is a sample-based virtual instrument featuring a second orchestral concert flute with slightly different articulations compared to Flute 1. Historically, once a technically complete traverse flute had established itself, the amount of solo literature for the instrument increased. Composers began to explore the limits of the instrument, and experiments with different tone colors and means of articulation resulted in a whole new palette of playing techniques. The Vienna Symphonic Library offers two different flutes as a single instrument download.
Note:
The software requires a ViennaKey USB or similar protection device if one is not already on the system.
