Designed specifically for use with their AMP 1L flashlight, the Snap-On Cone from Princeton Tec simply and securely snaps onto the front of the housing and changes the light from white to red and diffuses it for easier visibility from the sides, with reduced glare and eye-strain. With the cone installed it can be used for area lighting, to direct traffic and pedestrians, or as a marker for such things as campsites or tents. Since the cone changes the light from white to red, it can be used for activities in the dark, such as astronomy, to illuminate an area without affecting night-adjusted vision.
