HDMI to 3G/HD/SD-SDI Converter is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 25.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from works well, sort of I bought this to extend the range of my go-pro to my Blackmagic Design ATEM video switcher. Just don't make the mistake I made: apparently it only converts 1080p30 video to a 3G signal, which unfortunately didn't work for me because I don't have the 4K version of Blackmagic's switcher, mine only accepts HD-SDI. I'm sure it works beautifully, but it's not versatile enough for the application I had in mind. My own fault for not researching its specs more beforehand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HDMI to 3G/HD/SD-SDI Converter by KanexPro is AWESOME We used these devices to get a high definition output to our TriCaster for better quality live streaming. It worked like a charm and we will use to for the live stream of the World Cup X of women's softball this summer! It was an easy connetion to use an HDMI cable from the camera and a BNC cable out of the device into our TriCaster. It needs power so you have to make sure you have another plug available, but the quality was AMAZING!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Adds a hdmi input to Atem switcher I bought this hoping it would let me add another computer input to my atem switcher(only one hdmi in on mine) and so far works flawlessly! if I have any issues I will update this review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for what I needed I needed a long run and didn't want to use HDMI for such a long run. So I teamed this product up with a 100' SDI cable and worked like a charm.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Did not work for us We were trying to send a signal 100' through SDI from a iMac to projector. signal strength was week. Might work for shorter distances.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good tool for the money I used it to connect my mac book pro to a Panasonic video switcher where it worked fine. I had to scale the signal down to 720p to work properly. However, when I tried to connect it with my Sony HDR FX1000 I had a problem since the signal out is 1080i it was worthless to me. The product does well without down/up scaling the signal. What you feed is what you get.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use and solid connection Plug and Play. No latency. Clear image. Rivals the Blackmagic mini converters at half the price. I run it at 1080i 59.94 to push 200' + feet of sdi to my control. Clean and affordable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect conversion I compared HDMI 1080i to SDI processed trought this device VS HyperDeck Studio and it's identical! Construction could be better but for this price you can buy one more as backup !
