I have a Surface Pro 6 tablet/computer and a HP Spectre x360 Laptop that I would like to use this with. Will the power coming from the USB port on either of these be sufficient to power the DVD writer/player?

This drive would be bus powered (USB ), you should have no issues using it on those devices.

question

My tablet with windows 10, this is always in loading or reading , can't read any dvd at all , why?
Asked by: chun h.
The power coming from the USB port on the tablet isn't sufficient to power the DVD writer. You will need to use a DVD writer powered by an AC adapter in order to use it with a tablet.

question

Can I use this in my Tahoe? I have a usb & aux port. I would like to play multiple cd's without stopping to change them. If its possible, how many cd's can it hold?
Asked by: A J.
It holds one CD or DVD or Blu-Ray disc. I do not know if your car's software is capable of running and reading the discs in the same manner as a USB Flash Drive. Note also that vibrations while driving may cause the discs to skip. Buy a big flash drive and put all your music on that and I think you will be happier.

question

Does it work with a Mac?
Asked by: Anonymous
While the manufacturer does not list anything about it on the website, technically it will work. The reason why it might not have worked back then was that since Mac did not support Bluray at the time.
