    Lilliput 569/O reviews

    569/O 5" On-Camera Monitor is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from For the price this monitor rocks... I've never used a monitor before to shoot video. So I was a bit apprehensive to purchase one blind. After reviewing the different types and weighing price options I went with this model. It's user intuitive and operational straight from the box. There is a bit of a delay when syncing with my 5D Mark ii but other than that I am please with the quality of the image and its ease of use. The more I delve into this monitor the more I will appreciate the nuanced options it offers. I do wish the durability factor was more seems like it will break the first time I drop it. But that is my only really concern for this affordable little monitor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Little Monitor! I bought this monitor as an upgrade to a 7Lilliput monitor I was using in the past. This one is great because it uses the same batteries as my Canon 5D Mark II. Having extra batteries I can shoot all day! The image is sharp, you can adjust the monitor's color if you desired, but I used it as is straght out of the box. It's great that the monitor comes with an HDMI cable of it's own, now I have backup cables. I attached the monitor to my camera with an IMORDEN 11/28cm Articulating Magic Friction Arm for Hot Shoe Mounts. Was a welcome replacement to view my image over the camera's own view finder. I was able to shoot video and accurately focus on the fly because of this monitor. You can't beat the price & my DP asked about it and was impressed by it's image. When I told him the price he was shocked! So I would recommend it to add to your DSLR gear. You will impress your friends!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice Monitor but does not work at 24p Overall this is a nice little monitor. However I could not get it to work with my GH4 set to shoot 24p. It made no difference what my HDMI output was set at. It worked fine with the camera set to 30P or 60P. Since most of my shooting is done at 24p I had to return it. B+H specs says it works at 24p so they should probably revise this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from it was a great buy. I purchase this monitor a few weeks ago and it works great on my JVC GY HM 200 camcorder it is lightweight and easy to operate. It also works great on my JVC 600 camcorder as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Big features in a small package Bought this to go with my Sony HXR-MC2500. The screen on the camera was a little small for my liking, so I decided to add this. Never heard of the brand, but it had so many nice features, I couldn't resist. The monitor is fairly sturdy, doesn't feel cheap, and comes with the AC adapter, and battery brackets for Sony and Canon batteries (nice additions). It also has component in, composite in/out, and HDMI in/out. Not many monitors have a pass-through HDMI, and this is a huge bonus. My only complaint is that the threading on the bottom of the monitor for the hot shoe adapter starts further inside the monitor, and the threading on the adapter has a hard time reaching the start of it. You only get a couple of twists in before the threading stops, and it doesn't feel like it's in all the way. Still, it hasn't fallen off yet, so we'll see how that lasts. The picture quality is great and much better than the small LCD on the camera. Menu settings are minimal, there are no safe area or center markers (and my camera won't provide those on output either) Otherwise, the monitor is a great addition to my gear and wouldn't hesitate to purchase one again!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall, a great little monitor A great way to augment my 75 years old vision. Just perfect mounted on a Canon 5D4 to track video captures at sporting events. However, one needs a crowbar to removeCanon OEM LP-E6 batteries from the supplied adapter. WAY too tight of a fit. Also, the supplied HDMI cable required a bit of shaving on the camera end to fit into the Canon cable guide. Other than these minor aggravations, it works great.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Does the job...sort of. This monitor is not very accurate, and lacks an SDI input. But I've bought it as an external monitor for my Ronin M system, and for that it works fine. Lightweight, takes HDMI signal and Canon batteries, it's the best out there for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant: Lilliput 569O 5 LCD Field Monitor I recently purchased this monitor and I'm wonder . . . WHAT TOOK ME SO LONG! Color quality is great and both my studio and DSLR cameras. Center marks are perfect for studio and weight was perfect for my GH4. I recommend getting the larger battery for more battery life. This is a definitely purchase!!
