The Frameworks ID Series Speaker Stand from Gator Cases is lightweight at 13 lb, though it can support speakers up to 60 lb in weight. It features a built-in piston to assist in raising and lowering speakers, as well as an integrated and sliding adapter for 35mm speaker mounts, and an included cable management clip for keeping wires organized. Its third leg can be adjusted so that you can level the stand—and its mounted speaker—on uneven planes. The overall tripod design of the legs can be adjusted via a convenient, one-handed CAM. When you're done with the stands, you can fold them into compact cylinders so that they do not take up too much space. This is a two-stand set; it comes with two independent speaker stands and a carry bag for both of them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow These Stands are Awesome! Ok I have to admit i bought these just because i liked the industrial design. The way the fold up and the look of the legs was just stylish. The BEST part is that they are the best performing speaker stands that i have ever used. I love the cam style locks vs the old school knobs. The lift mechanism is very convenient and makes it easy for one guy to set-up. They are expensive but worth it. I run a 10 DJ company in the DC area and plan to buy more of these as we replace our speaker stands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Good Outweighs The Bad. First the bad: These are not black !! They're sort of a graphite grey, so they don't match the rest of pretty much everything on the bandstand. It's a minor niggle, but also a very silly design flaw, IMO. Also, the knob that holds the foot-extender in place tends to loosen up very quickly. I'v goten in the habit of tweaking it tight each time I collapse the stands, so no biggie, but it's still a flaw. Everything else is just fantastic: Very sturdy. Taller than I expected. (the listed height is to the bottom of the speaker, not the tip of the stand. The air system works reasonable well, even with my 85 lb speakers. Even the case is great: Very heavy and nicely reinforced. Expensive, but worth it. I just wish they were black.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gator Frameworks ID Speaker Stand I really like these stands. They look nice and works well. I used for QSC K12.2 which is about 50lb. it can push the speaker up 80% by itself and i needed to help a little to push all the way up. it would be nice if there is a plastic cap on top of the pole. The instruction is not adequate. You need to pull the legs off the hook at bottom (red plastic) before you can expand the legs out. In summary, raising up the speaker is very easy, no need to ask for second person to help.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Frameworks ID Series Adjustable Speaker Stand These speaker stands are a great invention and heaven sent. I'm 62 years old and do a lot of DJ work, now I don't have to go through a rough time to lift my JBL PRX 715 anymore the Frameworks does it for me very easy. These are the best in the world.I cant say anything negative about these stands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Design, Awesome Aesthetics, Needs Small Tweaks I picked up, and used a set of these stands, for the first time, this weekend. My initial impression is very positive. Case: Heavy duty. Two separated compartments(one for each stand). The two-pack with the case is imperative. These stands are beautiful, and should always be protected Aesthetics: Best looking speaker stands on the market. No more beat-up label scratched speaker stands, with bulky tripod legs. This stand folds into a single cylinder. Clamp design is simple. But, if the clamp isn't facing you, it's a little difficult to know which way to release it. Engineering: Pneumatics - Awesome. I set my K12.2's on the stand, flipped open the clamp, and up it went. If your speaker is under the weight limit for the lift, you'll need to pull it down, with a little force. It would be nice to have some way of indicating your preferred speaker height (I'm OCD, 'nuff said). Speaker Pole: Adapts to 35 mm. It would have been nice to put a plastic insert at the top of the pole. As it is now, it's exposed metal. When you sit your speaker on the speaker pole, the contact is metal to metal. Tripod Design: Overall design is very solid. I never felt my speakers were compromised, due to shabby construction of the stand. As noted by another reviewer, the knob to retain the extension, came loose during setup. Also, the red rubber feet on the bottom of the stand were easily removed. Hopefully, they won't loosen further, over time. I appreciate the time that Gator put into designing these speaker stands. They are definitely worth the price. Gator has managed to change my perception of the products with this series. I'm now considering the Frameworks microphone stands.
