Polly Dolly Engine
The Polly Dolly Engine from Matthews is a small dolly designed for use with smaller cameras, such as DSLRs, to obtain smooth tracking shots. It features a steel flywheel and a disengagement gear which enable you to move the camera ulra-smoothly on flat surfaces by accumulating kinetic energy and stabilizing the movement. With the Polly Dolly Engine, tracking shots that would normally require a motion control device or assistance from another person may be executed by just one person with almost no prep time. A scale on the flywheel enables precise stop-motion dolly shots. The Polly Dolly Engine fits cameras that have 3/8" threads (3/8" adapter included).
Arm for Polly Dolly
This Arm from Matthews is an extension arm designed to be used with the Polly Dolly system. This arm enables vertical and horizontal adjustments and rotation in all directions, allowing you to position your camera within a range of approximately 3.3'. Mount the camera directly on top of the arm or use connection plates of your choice (sold separately). A counter balance rod is included to enable you to add weights or sandbags for additional safety.
Surface Track for Polly Dolly
The Surface Track from Matthews is a track designed to create smooth motion with the Polly Dolly system. The track incorporates three adjustable elements to compensate for uneven terrain. A bag is included for transporting the system with ease.
