Super cheap and sharp option for a fisheye for the full frame sony setup. The Focus is very fast! Great build! The build of this adapter is even better than the lens.

Pro: Attaches right onto the 28mm f/2 like a glove. Allows an acceptable 3.5 min aperture. Super sharp. Con: super heavy. With the 28mm this is a long lens. (Still worth it!)

Excellent

Fun Add-On!

Pros: Easy attachment and detachment to the 28 mm f/2. Sharpness is not affected by attaching this add-on (that I noticed). Exif data is recorded correctly (16 mm). Solid construction. Relatively cheap. The auto-focus works well. Very fun to use! Cons: Heavier than the 28 mm lens it attaches to. Like the 28 mm, not weather sealed. It is not a standalone fisheye lens, so the set up ends up being a bit long and a bit unbalanced. If you have the 28 mm and are interested in fisheye photography, just buy it!

Can I use the Ewa-Marine U-A100 or U-B100 Underwater Housing with this lens? I am planning to attach this to my 28mm lens + my Sony a7rii

The Sony 16mm Fisheye Conversion Lens for FE 28mm f/2 Lens does not have filter threads so the Ewa-Marine cannot attach to the lens thus this is not usable. Please write our Underwater department so that we can get the gear that will work for you. [email protected]

This is a 16mm Fisheye Conversion Lens for the FE 28mm f/2 Lens. To use this lens you need B&H # SO2820 as well. You can use it for video and it will be wide, but also be a distorted fish-eye look.

The rear lens cap of the 16mm Fisheye Conversion Lens is a bayonet-style mount and does not have a traditional size. If you're looking for the diameter, it's 2-7/16" across.
