Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H8 reviews

B & O Play H8 Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones (Gray Hazel) is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good headphones, need some attention to detail This is a premium set of wireless noise canceling headphones and they overall perform very well. They are comfortable, beautifully constructed, and look as expensive as they are. No problems with the sound; note that they sound quite a bit better with the noise canceling turned off. In addition, they sound better wired than Bluetooth-not a surprise. The Bluetooth works especially well in wireless mode with no dropouts on my iPhone 6plus and this appears to be better than some other wireless headphones at least according to reviews. In general, I recommend these headphones and they compare well with other noise cancelling headphones; they are not audiophile headphones. They would be a 5 star (for noise cancelling headphones) at a lower price point but at this price level I expect the details to be right. Specifically, I think they deserve a more substantial carrying case than the supplied bag. Secondly, the supplied cable is a little short for extensive use as on an airplane where there may be no other choice than the wired mode. In summary, there are sonically equivalent headphones at a lower price point but if you are into design, appearance, and quality construction these are worth a look, especially since the Bluetooth seems to work better than some at least in my sample.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from doesn't work . I quick try this headphone in Helsinki Finland for like 5 minutes , but there were more costly , so I decide to buy here in the States , I own a pair of parrot 2.0 after you download the app in your smart phone this headphones just are amazing , but for some reason I though the bang and olufsen H8 probable have better sound and noise cancelation better then Parrot , but I totally wrong , the B O headphones are so tight to the ears and make your ears so tired after 20 minutes of use , the noise cancelation doesn't work that good , with the headphones on and with music half way up in your smart phone , you can still listening what is going on around , I return this Item to B and H and I go back to my Parrot wireless and my bose Q15

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don't buy these, just...DON'T BACK AWAY FROM THE SEXINESS...I will admit they sound decent, noise canceling is average, build quality is nice, but the CONNECTIVITY...ugh. The interruption of the signal with these is just INEXCUSABLE. My laptop will be sitting right in front of me and I get interrupted play. I'll have my phone IN MY BREAST POCKET and get interrupted play. These are HONESTLY one of the most REGRETTABLE tech purchases I have ever made. BUT, i have to share with you the best part. I emailed B&O regarding the connectivity issues and got a response that was OBVIOUSLY from a support document or something that was copied and pasted into an email. It reads like this: Investigations have shown that most users are not aware that the Bluetooth antenna signals is blocked by body parts. By placing the Bluetooth sound transmitter/receiver behind body parts, water in the body will dampen the signal drastically. This issue may be even worse outdoors with fewer reflecting walls. Enough said, save your pennies or apply them elsewhere. You have been warned...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are exquisite. I'm an artist, and I travel a fair amount, so Bluetooth is great for moving around my studio as I work and not dipping cords in paint, etc. and noise cancellation is handy for plane travel, but I still wanted something that sounded good, so I turned to the audiophile community to point me in the right direction, and holy holy. I've only had these for eighty-two minutes so I can't speak to durability and many other things, but so far these are gorgeous to look at and touch, gorgeous to listen to (not even broken in yet!), and extraordinarily comfortable (full disclosure though, I do generally find on-ear headphones comfortable, and I know many people don't). The Bluetooth is working perfectly (I can walk into the next room and close the door, run up and downstairs, no problem with range) and the noise cancellation, while it has nothing on the Bose QC 25, is totally adequate, and these SOUND way better than the Bose. (I share a household with a Bose QC 25-owner, so I've been able to give those a real test ride.) If you're looking for something that gives you the option of working wirelessly, gives you the option of noise cancellation, but still sounds great when you're not on an airplane, these are A+. Not many downsides I can think of so far, but: (1) They don't come with a hard case, only a soft case, which is kind of bananas, and (2) When you are using them wired, the wire plugs into the right ear, not the left. I imagine this is great for lefties, but it is a nuisance for righties. I know that (3) They're also really pricy, but given that you're getting noise cancellation AND bluetooth AND good sound, to me it's good value. Only other thing is that (4) Finding an extra spare battery has proved tricky as I've been researching my options. But you can listen to them while they charge, so hopefully this won't be a big problem. Huzzah!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not worth it Sound is excellent for bluetooth and build iis solid, but they are so uncomfortable that after 2-3 hours i just cant wear them. Hurt my ears. Trading them in for the h7.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simply the most beautiful headphones you can get... Materials, textures, colors, is all premium. Sophisticated. Classy. Whatever your music style. My only issue is they don't have a way to tell how much charge they have left so you always have to guess or forget charging them. If I lost them today though, I bough a pair just like this the same day.Upload
