    Pelican 1920B reviews

1920B MityLite LED Flashlight (Silver) is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worked till I dropped it once. I can not recommend this item at all. I owned this a couple months or so and it was my every day carry flashlight. I enjoyed how bright it was, I liked the pen shape for shirt pockets, I like OD Green. My biggest problem came when I dropped it once on my basement floor and it stopped working completely. The brand name is pelican case it should take at least the occupational knock on the floor. But not this light. now you might be thinking this is a vendetta, no its not. I genuinely was excited to own and use this light weekly. The problem is its one drop on the floor in my house. i didn't even get this light into the woods yet. I still say pass.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Short battery life I have tried 3 of these and they all burn out a set of alkaline AAA's in less than 1 hour on high output. Other than that, I like it, it is well made and a nice size.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mighty Light Indeed! I've had this light for about a month, very impressive for such a small light, very focused beam, beam stays in a tight group up to about 100ft, clean light thats easy on the eyes with no blueish hue like most LED lights, 2 light modes which is very handy, only cons are that the clip could be made better and there's a little to much room for the batteries width wise but that hasn't affeced its preformance at all so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Always in the Domke An emergency light always at the ready, I also use it as a fill light on the go when taking photos. Solid, dependable, and great ergonomics.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great flashlight Ipurchased the Mitylite for my wife, and she loves it. Because of its size she able to put it in herpurse and have it whenever she goes out. For its size, it puts out an impressive amount of bright white light. The flashlight's body is made ofaluminum making it very durable and its weather sealed too .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small, convenient and bright Helpful for adjusting camera settings and positions when taking moon shots. Too bad the special holder was not available at the same time. However, a shirt pocket will do for the time being.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great versatile small light easy to use, bright, and it's impressive looking. Just be sure to read the directions because the changing from the high to low setting is not intuitive

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Function #1, it should produce light 100% of the time I love the fit, finish, form and most everything about this light. But, you know what? it should produce light every time you push that button. Pros 1. build quality is superb. I've never held a flashlight in my hand that felt this well put together. 2. Seems sealed very well. Again, going to build quality. 3. doesn't feel like paint. Feels like anodizing. Again, a testament to it's build quality. 4. Amount of light produced. This thing is bright! WOW. 5. Takes AAA batteries. No need for special batts. Cons. 1. button switch is SUPER stiff. Although I have to say that either it has loosened up after use, or I've just gotten used to it. This could be a "pro" if a person wanted to just depress the button enough for easy on/off toggling (like if you wanted it to come on when you press it and turn off when you let go). It does this really well. But then again, stiff rubber buttons are another testament to build quality. 2. It gets hot. IDK why, but if you run this puppy for 3 minutes, it will get noticeably hot to the touch around the front where the bulb is. 3. Coating is slick. VERY slick. 4. clip is difficult to use. It needs a tiny bit more lip to get it to slide over your pocket easily. But once it's on, it stays well. It's just that it usually takes 2 hands to clip it. 5. About once out of every 5 times that I activate the button, the light SIMPLY WILL NOT TURN ON!!! I have to fiddle with it, turn it off and on and then after about a minute it will finally turn on. I have never had the light stop shining once it is turned on. This is the second flashlight (other brand) that I have purchased this year that is having trouble turning on. I have NEVER had trouble out of flashlight before with it's #1 basic function. It is a flashlight. It should flash light EVERY TIME! GRR. Since that is the primary function of the light, I sentence you to 2 stars!
